I feel I can comment on both our games as I attended and we made very few chances at all in either game so not sure we are a good comparison. No doubt we had the better chances over the 120 minutes vs Hull we were so much better than them on the night too but we only took one of our chances. Admittedly all I have to go by is highlights for Blackburn I was not there but we dominate the highlights with chances we really should have, could have, and on another day would have put away to come out with a different result. A coupe of the chances we got were gold and they were squandered. Blackburn looked to have two key moments and they got a goal in one of them. They made the most of their chances while we totally wasted ours. From what I saw can't help but be dissapointed we've been missing our shooting boots for two games now hopefully they come back vs Forest.

Amazing scences at Nacional's ground. Where those gents should have been playing the game of their lives tonight :'( What I loved the most about them looking back at lots of footage of them is how together they were. They truely were brothers and loved playing for the club and each other. The raw passion they had for football puts so many mercenaries playing the game now adays, in Europe especially, to total shame. The more I look into it the more heartbreaking it gets.

There's been a couple games where the opposition has rode their luck. West Ham were lucky the weekend and Burnley had luck on their side also. So they kind of have a case but it's still not good enough. Like us against Blackburn and Hull nobody's feeling sorry for us not taking our key chances when they came.

We've a few games after this we've really no excuses not to win also so a win here could start another run and resume service. I am going 1-2. I expect the team will look a little something like this: Darlow Yedlin Mbemba Lascelles Dummett Ritchie Colback Shelvey Gouffran Perez Gayle Clark's played two full games so wouldn't be surprised to see him rested. Richie being taken off yesterday suggest he's been saved a bit more for the forest game. You just never know with Rafa though that's why I rarely bother to guess the eleven.

He does need to get the players practice putting their chances away because we were wasteful against Blackburn too which also cost us the match. English football at the high levels is unforgiving and you are more often than not punished for not taking your chances. When we do put them away, like in the Leeds game, it all goes to plan. If we find our feet and scoring habits against Forest we'll win easy but if we don't......:S

The goalkeeper that he signed, and that he selected tonight despite some utter crap displays. He gave him another chance yes and you'd think he wouldn't let his manager down but he did massively. I can see why he picked him and left young Darlow on the bench to give him a break. Rafa needed him to step up to the plate but he let him down, hopefully for the last time as I 'd send him back to Belgium personally.

No way does he deserve the blame tonight. Poor finishing and a god awful goalkeeper let us down tonight.

Fair play to Atletico Nacional. Always respected them for their domestic achievements and of course they've not been too bad on the contenential scene either winning the Copa libertores last year. This could have been their first sudamerica trophy and second contential trophy in a row but they're unselfishly giving it up to honour the lost. Much respect.

At the risk of being flamed by said people on here, I do like True Geordie. I think he's improved a lot over the last year or two and his hate for Pardew is great.

If Bradford could knock Arsenal out then so can we! Liverpool I hear are likely to play a weakened team tonight so who knows if they'll even progress. And Man United well their performing below exceptions this season. First we need to beat Hull tonight,but if we do I personally feel we should not fear anyone, bring it on!

Nice to see it unite a lot of clubs in Brazil in respecting the club after a nightmare come through. Devastated for all involved. Hope the club can come back and continue building their legacy and go on to achieve many great things still in the name of those that have been lost. It would be nice to see them awarded their first continental trophy in honour of the players and hopefully they receive enough support in rebuilding their club. Unfortunately for the families and friends of the deceased there is damage in their lives that cannot be rebuilt. My thoughts and sympathy is with them.

If we advance on Tuesday I wouldn't mind getting Man United in the Semi. We'd be big underdogs but if we pulled off a win somehow it'd be almost as good as knocking out the Mackems.

Honestly thought we'd field our strongest eleven for Blackburn and not take them for granted and, you know, not lose, but alas I was wrong. Now expect us to field our best 11 in this and a semi final would be great to see us in. Make it happen Rafa.
