This isn’t really the right thread for this, but it’s all (kinda) linked in: https://josimarfootball.com/2024/07/22/the-hydra/

Nah, don’t think so. Would guess you have to apply in the ballot together.
-
Now on site. As are ballot dates for Spurs and Man City games.

Yeah, looks fine. Loads of people have had similar issues in the past despite everything seemingly being set up correctly. You could try the equivalent of turning it off and on again by changing the tickets to ‘No’, saving, then changing back to ‘Yes’ and saving. If it persists and you’re bothered enough to want it fixed, I’d call or go into the box office at some point.

Check your email settings/preferences in your NUFC account. Might well be that everything is ticked anyway, but worth checking for future.

Initially, probably yes, it doesn’t really change anybody’s chances. Where it could potentially make a difference is if people with kids realise that applying for the ‘rest of the stadium’ category, as opposed to the ‘family section’ category, gives them less chance of being sat together, forcing them into applying for family section going forward, thus reducing the demand for the other areas. That’s obviously pure speculation on my part like, and could be utter bollocks.

They’ve sent an email out. No doubt, as usual, some will get it and some won’t. Would imagine it’ll appear on the site tomorrow morning.

Southampton ballot open on Tuesday morning.

It also seems unviable. By definition, if it’s behind closed doors, how is anyone going to know if he’s played?
-
Might still make the first game

We’ll see. You might have more faith than many others…

Unless Mitchell starts telling him who he has to buy or this Bunce fella starts telling him who he’s allowed to play, he’s going to tell the FA to get fucked, should they come for him.
-
That is a fair point actually. I can’t think of anyone from their squad that’s been out on loan, then come back and been integrated into the team.
-
I don’t think, at the position we’re in now, Howe would consider taking a player on loan without a realistic chance of getting them permanently (other than in an emergency). We’ve seen his attitude towards anyone he feels isn’t ’fully invested’ in NUFC (Fraser, Ashworth etc) and can a loan player ever fit that criteria if they know they’re only here for a season?
-
@Wallsendmag would this make you reconsider getting a membership?
-
Just ST holder resale tickets.
-
Hmmm, interesting to see if there’s any fallout from folks that have been successful for 3+ tickets in a group and then find they can’t get them all together? Still, it’s a move to picking your own seat, which was wanted by the vast majority, so in that sense, it’s fair enough.

If he comes out today and effectively says England can get to fuck, his strength of support from within the fanbase goes from extremely strong to absolutely massive.

10 year anniversary today. Still as grim.

Yeah, he signed a ‘new’ contract in 2022. The details weren’t specifically reported other than it being “long-term”. So you would suspect this latest one wouldn’t have been too much about increasing the length, I’d guess more at giving him a pay rise in return for giving the club more security should anyone (the FA) come calling.
