He’s not gonna run around with his foot half in his boot is he? There was nothing wrong with what he actually did, it was the sloth like pace he decided to do it at that was the issue, and ultimately what bit him on the arse.

Yeah, I think when he put the tackle in it sort of half came off, so he had to take it off fully to get it sorted.

He scored the last two Boxing Day games, although he did miss the one before them.

I think we’re probably just looking to stop him going away for the next international break. We’ve got another seven matches between that break and the AFCON, so he’ll be playing in them.

Reaching a bit there like given Spence’s boot came off when he made the initial tackle, and I think Tonali actually had to undo his laces in the first place so he could do them up again 😂 The biggest issue with the Spence one was his general lack of urgency. Aye, your boots come off and you have to sort it out, but hurry up man.

They’re already at the AFCON, it’s WC qualifiers (well playoffs actually) coming up in November.
