Starting to feel a bit like what Botman did initially, where he damaged it, but not completely fucked it, so there was a debate about how best to treat it.

Does this mean we’re better than Germany, or are Wolves worse than Northern Ireland?
  3. West Ham absolutely love getting howked in that stadium like.

It also had Botman down for a foot injury until the teams came out
  5. They could have done, but I struggle to believe no one at the club was aware. They chose not to do anything because no one was complaining, it wasn’t doing any harm (relatively speaking), and it was probably always viewed as ‘someone else’s’ responsibility to do something about it. Until this week.
  6. I’m fairly sure it’s a historical thing from the Ashley era, where the demand obviously wasn’t what it is now, so it probably made sense to shift a block of tickets to some sort of travel company. But that probably means the travel company have been knocking these tickets out every game for god knows how long and nobody has done anything about it (and I find it almost impossible to believe the club didn’t know it was happening). So probably negligence on the clubs part, rather than anything more sinister.
  7. Indeed. I understand they can’t be responding to every accusation that gets hoyed about on SM, or they’d be on forever. But there’s basic things they could do, like revealing away ticket numbers and how they distribute them, that would nip a lot of noise in the bud. Even be more transparent about the measures they’re taking to try and stop the bots/touts would be a start. Rather than just random things happening on the site that lead us to believe they might be doing something.
  8. There’s a fair few inaccuracies in it like, but the overall point is well made, even if I’m not sure the tone is one that will get the club to engage. Although having said that, it’s got some decent SM traction, and as we have seen with the Dundee thing, maybe that is the way to get them to respond.

Villa played more games mind. If you want to put a negative spin on it you say Ramsey missed 10 compared to Willock’s 5. If you want to put a positive spin on it, you say Ramsey played 46 compared to Willock’s 41. Anyway, I personally think Willock will be alright going forward injury-wise (accept others disagree), it’s what the injuries may or may not have taken away from him that’s the concern.

Injury-wise, Willock was OK last season, not great, but OK. What people were concerned about was that he hasn’t looked anywhere close to the same player as 22/23, before he had his run of bad injuries. If a Villa fan wanted to level same accusation against Ramsey, then OK (I wasn’t watching him closely enough to know), but his injury record last season was fine.

Perhaps, but that’s an entirely different discussion.

That’s not solely through injury though is it? He was available for plenty more than that.

He played 46 games last season.

Alright then. Jacob Ramsey injured for six weeks = season’s fucked

Ramsey injured for six weeks = Eddie in danger of the sack

The reaction to one player getting a medium term injury from a bad/clumsy tackle is incredible.

Yeah, and I don’t doubt he could have damaged it. But if he’d completely ruptured it, I think he’d have struggled to get back here, let alone anything else.

He obviously hasn’t completely ruptured his ACL or they’d have known long before now. That’s not to say he won’t have damaged it in some way though.
  19. His behaviour is being ‘monitored’ for 12 months.
  20. Thought he was getting a touchline ban in CL after doing something last season, but he’s now not.
  21. They decided last season that they want the first week of European football to be ‘CL only’, not infected with any EL or ECL peasantry. So they therefore split all the matches across Tue, Wed and Thurs, rather than just Tue and Wed.

Oh they still do that then Generally anytime Schar gets the ball within 40 yards of goal.
  23. Feels like he’s gagging to get sacked.
