November fixtures due out today for anyone needing to make plans.
-
Might be a UEFA thing now like. We don’t have a good enough coefficient score to choose dark coloured shorts and socks as our first choice.
-
Have they just reverted to this method due to unprecedented numbers of attempts to get tickets by bots/touts? If so, kinda understandable, but why do it in apparent stealth? Just issue a brief statement to say this is what’s being done and why. Even if people don’t agree with it, they’d at least know where they stand, and you wouldn’t have had loads of people wasting their time in this limbo state.
-
I dare say if it gets to Thursday lunchtime and there’s still some left, they’ll open them up on F5 as normal. Doing it all in stealth mode isn’t helping anyone though.
-
So if you finish 9-16 and go into the playoff round, winning that one tie is worth the thick end of the £10m?
-
It’s a good reminder to the club that should we eventually get our new super stadium at 65/70k capacity, along with regularly qualifying for CL (not that Spurs really qualify regularly), they won’t be able to just charge whatever the fuck they like forever cos ‘Champions League’. I understand why they’ve done the cup scheme, but just blanket charging a set fee, regardless of opposition, might be something that needs looked at going forward. It shouldn’t be the same price for the likes of Kairat Almaty as it is for Barcelona or Real Madrid. *obviously they’ll just go ‘aye, fair enough, £40 for Almaty and £80 for Barca’, but ya kna.

In a kinda Sesko - Emmanuel Rivière way?
-
Maguire’s your biggest goal threat from 75 mins onwards though?
-
Was it not just the away ones that were on an evening? Maybe not, as I suppose they’ll want to give the foreign journos a chance to arrive. Can’t remember tbh. Guesses as to the player that gets put up? Bruno surely.

Be disappointed if we end up below PSV.

Panned out pretty much exactly as I thought. Negligence rather skullduggery. Hopefully it shines a light on the fact that everything around ticketing needs to be as transparent as possible in the current climate, to try and avoid situations like this becoming headlines.

Aye, gonna be an awfully long three weeks between games like.
-
From next season it looks like the Sep and Oct international breaks are being combined into one longer two week break. Not sure if that’s good or bad?
-
He’ll have six months left on his contract then. We’d get next to fuck all.

Feels like Schar’s taking him under his wing a bit. Was chatting to him in German on one of the training vids, seemed buzzing in the celebrations following his goal, and also commenting on his SM. Bit of a change from telling Gordon he “needs to earn it” when he first walked in.
-
I didn’t think they were that bad today. I mean I’m probably judging them against being a mid table team, so the bar is a lot lower than it should be. They’ve still quite a bit of quality that can win them games, but equally they’ve got some major flaws that need sorting. The keeper is a shambles (we’ll wait and see how much better this new lad is), Ugarte/Casemiro aren’t good enough, Fernandes is playing in the wrong position and Sesko looks like he’s gonna take a while to adapt (but if we were gonna buy him, it probably means he’s a player). Also think the wingbacks, whoever plays, are a bit meh, given they’re fairly critical to this formation that must not ever be changed.

They never pull anyone up for that unless there’s a rebound.

In 97 it was Wimbledon - Barcelona - West Ham

Does that then make it good news? 🤯
