  4. We’ll see, but I don’t think they have the quality of squad to do that. Take someone like Milenkovic, been absolutely brilliant for them in the way they currently set up. If they were to open up more, I think he’d get exposed and it could start getting difficult for them.
  5. Would be an entertaining three months with him and Marinakis, before it ended in a massive fireball.

Yes, but I think we see players and managers changing clubs all the time, so there’s nothing particularly unusual about it. This would appear different, even if it isn’t.
  7. The Ramsdale thing is perfectly sound logic, but has anyone ever successfully rotated keepers in and out from a game-specific, tactical point of view? In theory no reason to why it should be different to any other position in that sense, but in practice, it just never seems to happen.

I mean if it was all to go through with Spurs and she was in the stands, showing the same level of passion and enthusiasm, I’d understand people questioning it to a degree. But there has to be an understanding that she still needs to do her job.

That’s her job though, it’s what she does. Like questioning a player for signing for someone else after leaving us.

  12. I suppose it depends how much you let behaviour and character feed into it. For me, McClaren was unquestionably the worst performing manager in recent history. However, I suppose I should accept some people may feel that the off-field stuff around other managers was so unpalatable, it overtakes the fact that they actually performed better than him.

It’s far easier to be angry and resent someone that you don’t know and haven’t been friends with.

Bet he still absolutely smashes him first chance he gets.
  15. He was absolutely fucking useless. If just being a decent bloke and trying your best is good enough to get a pass, I don’t know what we’re doing. As unpalatable as it might be, I’d rather have a right cunt that didn’t get us relegated. Fortunately, we’ve now managed to get ourselves someone who appears to combine being an excellent human with being an elite manager.

Wonder if Tripps ever thinks ā€˜should have just let her fuck off, and stayed in Madrid’?
  17. Whilst not wanting to absolve Pardew of blame for 12/13, the summer window that preceded it completely threw us to the dogs. And for all the many negative aspects of Pardew’s tenure, at least 11/12 is something solid in the positive column. McClaren has absolutely fuck all. Like nothing. Apart from maybe those two games where we beat Liverpool and Spurs back to back.
  18. They both massively outperformed McClaren in every season they had, cunts or not. *I accept Bruce would have massively underperformed everyone had he stayed for any length of time in that final season, but he didn’t.
  19. I’d be taking @54’s list and creating a special category below everyone else, just for him.
  20. McClaren gets away with absolute murder just because he didn’t seem like a dickhead. Getting that squad relegated was absolutely disgusting. The worst underperformance of any manager in my lifetime.
  21. Might be some on Amazon mind (probably only one or two max like).
  22. General sale 10am Tuesday if you want to put yourself through it….
