Didn't hit any form at Stoke but showed great promise earlier in his career at Guingamp & then Marseille. Not sure how he was at Porto but I think it's fair to say he hasn't fulfilled even half of his early potential.

100% this. If the white trim on the collar & sleeves was black I'd be well on board. As it is, the white trim makes it for me a less memorable, less bold, cheaper and more generic looking shirt. Red printing on the back is a bit of a saving grace though.

Bit irrelevant but I'm not a big fan of that new shirt. It's not terrible, just has a cheap feel about it with that white collar. Rounded collar lined with black and I might be more on board. Spoilt with this season's tbf which was superb. Happy with Ki

A World Cup match should never feel like a non-entity, especially a World Cup that has been this entertaining. That was utter shite last night and part of me would laugh if England are put out by Colombia. It would make the approach to last nights game look even more pathetic. I love how people think if we beat Colombia we're in the semis as well, the arrogance is astonishing, England haven't even played a decent half of football against even an average team yet

They arent. It's what comes after Beat Colombia then it's Sweden/Switzerland. After them one from Spain/Russia/Croatia/Denmark. Belgium have Japan, then Brazil/Mexico, France/Argentina/Uruguay/Portugal I think people seem to be massively underestimating this side of the knockouts. Croatia & Spain are two of the strongest sides in it on evidence & Sweden/Switzerland are good enough to beat England for certain based on what we've seen. Brazil on other hand have hardly lit it up, keep hearing about them being the team to avoid but not from what I've seen. Mexico arguably look better. Essentially, it's never as simple as avoiding the bigger names, and we've just not bothered even going for the win there based on that notion alone. Poor approach imo.

The approach to this game from England has been pathetic imo. Colombia could easily punish them, they definitely have enough quality. Not trying to win & avoid them could prove a big regret.

While i agree Belgium have done the same if not more Just more a reason to play our strongest squad and beat them well imo; the confidence gained would be a bigger asset than slightly fresher legs England team looks weak to me.

Resting/dropping Kane & making 8 changes is a load of shite imo.
