  1. Brilliant from Ayoze. Playing some good football here man, nevermind the pen it's gone now.
  2. Kenedy looks fucking brilliant. Great link with Merino for the pen, genuinely top quality wing play. Shame about Joselu, he shouldn't have been on that pen, lacks the ruthlessness.
  3. I reckon he's went and made his charming hand/tongue gesture to the nurse on arrival.
  4. I don't believe we do know this. I think he does like... just for his price - which is fair enough imo. Can pretty much say that as a fact.
  5. I think it's already displayed tbh. Pretty much common knowledge now. I would certainly have understood it a bit more if nobody was signed this window, but I'd still question the result/affect/purpose of the endeavour - certainly not the validity though, as not to be mistaken here.
  6. Laugh away, fact is the hands of the owner and the potential buyer are shown. There's nothing left to do other than support the players and manager. We know he wants to sell, we know she wants to buy - the only way we can affect this is by supporting the team and doing our bit to help them stay in the league. I don't see how a protest contributes to that cause in any way. It's my opinion, anyway - what we're on this forum for after all, init?
  7. Aye rightly so. We've got some of our prime targets in and they need supporting. Not sure what a protest is meant to achieve at this time - it's not like everyone isn't aware of the circumstances with fans/manager/owner at NUFC. Well documented. Lets sweep the last 11 years under the rug, because generous Mike has lent Rafa his helicopter to get a couple of loan deals That's not what I'm saying, I just think we should be prioritising supporting the team over protesting against the owner - which fans do via chants every single game anyway. I fail to see what a protest will achieve now? Raise awareness? Already done. Show discontent? Done. Put pressure on the owner? Irrelevant now.

  9. Would be worth it just for the lift it would give the fans.
  10. Islam all the way. Have to say this has perked me up. Class to hear We need all the positivity we can get atm.
  11. I don't know. If Sturridge stays fit he'll be very dangerous for them. Hopefully Pardew can work his magic within 4 games and turn him into an absolute turd. It will all depend on how Strurridge can adapt his play to suit the limitations of his teammates that will have been less apparent at Chelsea/Liverpool. Slimani however comes as a more ready-made threat imo.
  12. With this nearly completed, I'm intrigued to see who makes a bigger contribution to survival for their respective clubs out of him and Strurridge. I would say this, but I reckon Slimani is the man.
  13. Loves a header. And just think about how many headed chances we have missed recently and dropped points as a result...
  14. Not as worried about Burnley as I am about our own lack of ability to take the game to them. I think they'll offer very little in an attacking sense, however if we sit back and allow them the ball you have to think a chance will come for them eventually. If we take the game to them it could be over in the first half. 1 goal will probably do it, 2 would definitely.
  15. Hasn't been any clamouring for him on here for weeks/months tbf. He's very much faded out into the background whilst Gayle has come in and asserted his dominance in the forward position
  16. Because there's more than 3 games left in the season.
  17. It's all worked out for him in the end, which is great, but ultimately he likes doing his work early and I don't think he was looking to wait until this late. Due to the amount of interest in Slimani, and Leicester apparently wanting a permanent deal for him earlier in the window, we were not going to get him in any earlier. We are very very very fortunate really. You can see how Slimani would fit into Rafa's system of 1 up top more than Sturridge or Iheanacho would like, so I can believe that he was his number one target.
  18. Slimani-mani-mani, Costs loads of money, So he's on loan instead
  19. 'another goalie' They must have the Czech Alan Pardew as their coach.
  20. Quality aye, mint at reading Czech like.
