I reckon Messi plays in the most challenging circumstances any player has ever played in. Just to advance a few yards he constantly has to shrug off at least 2 players who are breaking their neck to stay with him - and likely see it as a big achievement just to dispossess him. Amazing that he manages to still look as poetic as he does.
