Miss you Joe, get well soon please. Need him fit for Wolves and Barcelona, we're not the same team without him.

Aye, he started off quite well but 2 or 3 times since he's headed it straight back to the edge of our box for Leeds players to pick it up. -

Absolutely this. We've got no outlets in wide areas so everything is being done centrally and it's made the game a messy, ugly watch. We've got quality on the ball in Bruno, Tonali and Ramsey and yet constantly they're receiving it with no space ahead of them to play into. -

We're hanging in there and giving a good account of ourselves in difficult circumstances up against midfield maestro Sean Longstaff who is bossing the game. -

The set up isn't really working thus far for me, Tino doesn't really have an overlap option when he likes to drift inside from the left onto his right foot, Tonali is trying to offer it but has too much ground to make up. Murphy and Osula as a front two centrally is, well, about as unthreatening as it sounds. -

Sean bossing it. -
That Kelleher is terrible.
-
Second game in the Premier League and there's empty seats dotted about throughout the lower tiers visible on the stream. Thought the novelty would last a bit longer than a week.
-
Him and Caicedo are both overrated imo. Caicedo is a good player, but is often discussed as one of the best midfielders around, as if he's on Kante's level. Nowhere near.
-
Offer them Isak.
-
Andy Howe mashing the buttons on Tekken and coming out on top. In fairness, they probably did prefer Strand Larsen due to him being more of a known quantity and somewhat a guarantee of settling into the team and hitting the ground running. As fans, Woltemade all day.

That Germany shirt is immaculate.

Of the 8 teams, our squad and manager are only behind Barca & PSG imo. -

Famous last words and that, but other than PSG & Barca, our draw appears hard in regards to historical stature of the clubs, but most of them when you look over their squads/managers aren't all that. ten Hag's Leverkusen who will obviously be absolutely shite, PSV who I'm sure got beat about 7-0 at home by Arsenal last year, Marseille and Benfica whose squads are a far cry from where they were when we played them in 2004 and 2013 respectively. I think we make it through fairly comfortably. -
Read that Stuttgart are a proper aggressive high pressing outfit, so big Nick will be ready to drop straight in to Eddie's system and start pressing the fuck out of cunts from day one.
-
Joelinton's future successor? 9 this season, rampaging 7 in a few years. Nicht malo. Looks a proper exciting player.

What a beautiful design. -
We're often a club of extremes, and we're now on the precipice of either having no strike force at all until January at least, or having the best strike force in world football by a distance with a re-engaged Isak with Strand Larsen as back up. Transfer windows are funny, we all get collective amnesia. In June/July it's "things will pick up towards the deadline, clubs will want to do moves" to "ah, it's too close to the deadline, they won't let him move now".
-
Beautiful Huddersfield goal.
-
Hope so, he's pretty much a Wilson regen sans injuries.
-
I reckon if you were to ask Eddie of all the transfers we've failed to complete this window which he'd have most liked to have happened, it would be Delap. Pretty sure he was the first player we tried to sign this summer, right price at £30m, perfect profile of player and would have genuinely transformed this entire summer for the better if we had got that one done early. Of all the list of strikers, Larsen, Sesko, Wissa, Jackson etc etc. Delap is the one I can just picture in a Newcastle shirt in an Eddie Howe team.

Will Osula: Goal vs Man United nominated for PL Goal of the Season

Whilst I do think he’s an erratic, somewhat chaotic player, it’s not exactly helped by the fact he only ever really gets 5-10 minutes at the end of games we’re chasing. For that reason I think he deserves to start a few games consecutively for us where we may see a more refined, disciplined performance.
