Would take all the help we can get
-
We're talking about 3 players who are world class. I would say there's an element of personal preference when choosing a favourite, you can't say KDB is way out ahead of Grealish in terms of ability, can you?
-
Yeah, I'd rather watch Grealish, possibly rather him play for my team; but I think it's hard to argue with Froggy's point that Fernandes has been the best player in the league pretty much from the moment he arrived. Feel like I've had this discussion about 50 times though so not sure why I'm participating
-
Fernandes/Grealish are the best in the league in that position imo. But that's personal preference as I like their Cantona/Gazza-esque confidence bordering on arrogance.
-
Best goalkeeper in the PL this season.
-
Aye, perfect Deeney replacement, big, physical centre forward
-
Good move for him that. Having played for Wednesday who are now in a relegation scrap, to not playing for a while then ending up at a team pushing for automatic promotion. His left back competition is a fellow Moroccan too in Adam Masina. Very similar sort of player.
-
Fuck me, that was quality.
-
Yeah I think it is. Klopp's failure to adapt and use what he does have at his disposal (which is still a quality set of players) has to go down as the main reason. Also Allison is not the best goalkeeper in the world as everyone has had us believe for the last few years. Always thought him and Ederson were pretty overrated.
-
Aye, can she play instead of Joelinton, Gayle or Carroll on Monday?
-
Same here only the Russian squad. All shite like but I bring over some young pioneers for morale, throw them in the canteen and have them cook up some borscht and shashlik for the first teamers. Win the league first season every time. They grow up into some real Bratans and get loaned out to Hajduk Split and the likes.
-
Thought he was done aye, so that's positive news. Perhaps we'll get to see the handsome bastard in the black & white again after all.
-
Of course. Rococo-co-co-co-co-co-co-co.
-
That said, I genuinely couldn't care less about the England national team. Slav'sya Slovakia.
-
Ings' form is pretty bad though. If he rekindles it he is probably the best finisher of those mentioned.
-
Given that one of Wilson, Watkins or Ings would be last resort/someone to throw on for 15 minutes to try get a goal if we're behind/level, I think Wilson is the man. He has a better return than Watkins in a team that creates much, much less.
-
Aye, was just about to say that. Loan to a top 3-5 Eredivisie club, he could probably rack up a few goals and maybe they'll give us £5-10m. It's really a rank situation, he has very few attractive qualities as a footballer. You can't even market him as a physical forward. He's weak as fuck. Wonder what wages he's on.
-
His posts and winding up of Sunderland fans who engage with him seem consistent with his personality from the moment he arrived here. Sure, players have people who work with them to produce content and help with social media presence given that they are essentially brands/marketing tools these days, but right down to tweets of him replying to people and posting memes? I doubt it.
-
Bizarre. This is what the people who we cheer on, admire and even glorify sometimes are up to in their spare time I mean that was away with France U21's... some of the best young players in the world. I'll be cautious in my admiration of football players going forward. Think I'll just support Miguel Almiron from now on, he's sound.
-
It's strange, but in comparison with the recent happenings in the life of Arsenal's 'Mbappe of centre backs' William Saliba, it is rather tame. I would not recommend anyone search for what it is I'm referring to
-
Blasphemy.

Miguel Almirón (now playing for Atlanta United)

Totally anecdotal and not something we don't already know about his personality, as it's evident just watching him on the pitch; but a friend of mine from South Shields who does like wedding/engagement/baby shower stuff (decorations, cakes etc) got to work with him & his wife on their baby shower recently and said they were absolutely lovely. Even the fact they're using such a small, local business for such things speaks volumes. We've struck gold with this lad, cherish him, as people like him don't come around too often in modern football. -
