Good lad Seriously, Everton will be the one I fear he will make it to Palace, get a draw or a lucky 1-0 win and stay. Desperate stuff by that point. -

Bielsa could become every Geordies 4th favourite Argentine (after Jonas, Colo & Fede ahead of Facundo and Bassedas) if he puts Bruce to the sword as he should. Daniel Cordone is quietly sobbing in a corner somewhere. With Ardiles. Life's tough. -

It was incredibly frustrating watching Colback get pushed around like a small child but he was always out there scrapping at least, as bad as he was. And he did have the odd moment where he did some good things. This man Hendrick is just lost at sea. It's astonishing how invisible he is when he plays. It doesn't even make sense. Exactly, even Colback could manage a slide tackle now and again, and actually chased players down. This guy is the most invisible player I've ver seen,it's almost an artform. That's true You would think once or twice a game he would be involved in a phase of play, just by the law of averages. The fact he manages to avoid any responsibility at all whilst creating the illusion of being busy, it's almost impressive.

Would he be your choice should a takeover happen or do you reckon he could be tempted here under the current ownership? I think he's the real deal like.

Almiron is a diamond. We're lucky to have him. -

Not a PL team, that's for sure. I genuinely, non-hyperbolically think we play some of the worst football I've ever seen. It's utterly clueless. It can't even be described as defensive or "park the bus". They're not even competent enough to deploy that with some semblance of success. An embarrassment of a set of football coaches. -

Fucking hell we're soooo easy to play against. It's an absolute piss take. Genuinely think if we just didn't have a manager or coaches and just let the players sort shit out amongst themselves before kick off we would play better than this. -

Such a strange attempt at a save by Darlow that, had no awareness of what was going on. -

The way the line up is listed it could be a midfield diamond. A 0.000005 carat diamond anyway. -------Hayden------ Hendrick---Shelvey -------Almiron------ -

Likely to be so true. -
Tough situation. Dubravka is apparently getting restless with one eye on his national team spot for the summer which is now in jeopardy. We have a decision to make, do we want to keep Darlow long term as our No.1 or do we want Dubravka. If it's the latter, he has to start playing or he's gone.

Not that it's likely to have much affect on our performance, but I'd like to see Dubravka come in. I reckon he will be getting restless pretty soon and begin to consider his options. He's now got some solid competition for his national team spot as the lad from Fulham put in some class performances for Slovakia in the qualifiers & played a massive part in getting them through. Dubravka will rightly have his eye on that, is our best keeper (best player generally imo), is fully fit and should play. -
Wonder if there's loads of wind behind it? It looks sped up how fast the ball travels.

That Sanson is mint, we've been linked with him for years. Type of player we could do with now. He's a bit more well-balanced than Clement Grenier, but the whole thing reminds me a lot of that. He's been unlucky with injuries but he's a lovely footballer, perfect technique. On another note, Mandzukic has joined AC Milan, imagine playing against both him and Zlatan. Fuck that.
-
I can't help but look at him and his body language and feel sorry for him, despite the fact it's truly shocking that he's playing football for us in the Premier League. I would have said he doesn't seem to have any heart in his game, but tbf to him he stuck at it despite being massively and rightly under intense scrutiny from very early on - so that displays some sort of will and determination. It can't have been easy to step onto the pitch at times last season knowing how bad he had been previously whilst also being aware of the growing pressure from the supporters. Unfortunately that's about all I can praise him for as a footballer. I'd like to say under different circumstances he would be better, but tbh I don't really know what type of player he is. Can anyone think of a player who reminds you of Joelinton? I was having a think but couldn't come up with much, there's strikers like Rudy Gestede and Andreas Cornelius who are somewhat comparable in that they're big, shite, supposed to score goals but never do... however I can't think of a player like him who operates from the left or right, with his stature and lack of technique... He's like when Pardew played Cisse on the wing.

He's one of the greatest all-time strikers like, that's for sure.

Holding seems like an odd guy. Just slapped Martinelli on the arse then grabbed his balls.
