Yes. He'd walk into both teams.

I always thought King was often over-rated because of his injuries. Seemed like he’d be touted as being the next Bobby Moore if it weren’t for injuries. Maybe I’m being harsh, he played for them at a time we normally gave him the run around. Woodgate on the other hand...class. King was fantastic. Very Van Dijk-esque. Could have easily reached that level, I'd argue he was on that level when fit. Pace, power, anticipation. Everything he done was slick and assured.
-
Ledley King would be in the conversation if he wasn't so plagued by injuries. Terry for me was the best by some way. King & Woodgate, talent-wise, were equal to or even better than Ferdinand.
-
No way imo. They'd be ripped apart in our league. We wouls easily beat them, so would burnley Agreed. They'd almost certainly be relegated.

Miguel Almirón (now playing for Atlanta United)

Someone needs to give him a fuggy crack on his baldy heed. Blind cunt. -
Looks really promising. Better than the last Brazilian centre back called Gabriel that they bought.

Ferdinand? Lewis up front?

Newcastle United vs Everton 01/11/2020 - 2pm - Sky Sports

Yep, Everton line up is still decent, but the style of play they've been successful with this season will have to be altered significantly with the absence of 3-4 players who are key to that system. If we had a decent manager, I'd be confident of exploiting their vulnerabilities. -
I had an incline Werner & Havertz wouldn't hit the ground running here, if at all. Ziyech is the real deal though, Chelsea's best summer singing.

Strange one, Podence is a way better player like, but still think Adama is a good player and looked to be improving his end product a lot last season. Think he's a pretty good crosser of the ball these days. They play Neto on the right now I think - who I don't know enough about, however all I do know, and have always known is - Saint-Maximin > Adama.
-
Guessing it's something to do with Ashley? Would seem too coincidental for them to end up supplying (of all the 100+ clubs in England and Scotland) the two clubs he has links to? I don't mind it, hopefully they will want to go all out and make a great design that reflects us in some way and isn't just a copy & paste template job.

----------------Dubravka/Schmeichel---------------- Pereira--------Ogbonna-------Dunk-----------Digne -------------Ndidi---Ward-Prowse/Allan------------- Saint-Maximin----------Grealish--------------James --------------------Vardy/Jimenez------------------- Possibly something along those lines. I always really like Ogbonna when I see him play but I appreciate there's probably better options out there. Dunk is undoubtable.

Like it, could argue Grealish over Zaha perhaps... but I think I agree with atleast 6/7 of your picks. Neves I'm not sure about, think he's looked quite poor for a little while now.

Looking at the "likeable 11" and also this recent talk of the european super league got me thinking, what would people's best 11 made up of players outside the top 6 clubs? (Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, City, Utd & Arsenal). Vardy or Jimenez for striker? Would ASM get in? Dubravka keeper?
-
Jesus. Would probably be Hendrick - Hayden - Shelvey - Lundstram in a midfield 4 with Almiron and Fraser on the bench.

Messi has been an absolute delight to watch tonight.
-
Not for Barca no.
-
He's clearly of the level required, just doesn't fit in. Class interplay with Messi there mind Not seen anything to suggest he is tbh, a back heel won't change my mind He royally fucked up a chance about 10 minutes after that back heel too. I think back to Pedro, Villa, Sanchez, Suarez more recently. Griezmann isn't on their level.
-
Not entirely sure what Griezmann is meant to be good at. Been such an awful signing for Barcelona, nowhere near the required level.
-
This. I was always a bit mystified with a section of the fan base, mostly online mind, that seemed to want to do down his ability. Just enjoy what you’re watching, he’s a one in a million type of footballer. It's happening (albeit online) with ASM lately too. After that Brighton game he was criticised insanely harshly given what he's done for us. It's almost as if certain people lurk in the shadows awaiting an excuse to complain.

Did he love tabs? Few lads at my school, two in particular were operating at a level way beyond their age, but they couldn't resist a Lambert & Butler and a shot on the bucket set hidden behind the oak tree at the bottom of the school grounds
-
Definitely, although I wanted to be Shay Given. I even got my hair cut with a receding hairline to look like his and started buying Sondico gloves and Adidas Preds.
-
Still one of the most entertaining players playing the game. Saint-Maximin is brilliant but he's not quite on Hatem's level for me. Anyone who claims to enjoy or love football has to simply admire him.
-
He's also an offside little weasel.
