Before even seeing that stat, I am convinced our survival in this league relies on having him back in the team and keeping him fit. When he signed, we were hearing these stories of him not being a team player, hard to coach etc. It is in fact that individual, maverick approach that will prove key. He certainly appears to have this autonomous sense of confidence, existing irrespective of how low in confidence his team mates are, and that alone is looking like our only real chance at causing teams genuine problems and winning points.

Looking at the fixture list ahead, the muscle injuries - some of which self-inflicted through lack of competence from the staff, and crucially the fact that results are beginning to reflect our poor tactics subsequent performances this season; we're in trouble, there's no question about it.

Oh ... Ozil is definitely back. Such a simple adjustment too. The wide players are really wide and it has really opened up the pitch for both him and even Xhaka. They now have so much more time and space to use the ball and influence the game. Arteta is going to be so good, and Arsenal are going to be on their way. Playing some wonderful stuff with so much more confidence already. Yeah, they have looked fantastic throughout the team this half. Nice to see Pepe building confidence and showing his ability. This is what a team gaining confidence through being instructed well by a manager looks like. From tentative and nervy to inspired and forthright.

Ozil is a pure joy to watch. Most graceful player in the league imo.

Value wise hes the worst striker I've seen in 40 years even Rob McDonald, Rambo Reilly,Tony Cunningham,Frank Pingel,Shola,The Hoss could score goals To think we paid 2 and a half times the amount we paid more for this guy than Arsenal paid for Aubameyang and Liverpool paid for Salah is fucking mind boggling Aubameyang was like £55 million.

I've felt for a while now that we play on a knife's edge defensively. It's impressive when we manage to keep clean sheets with heroic performances, but I can't say I'm that surprised we're seeing errors creep in and weaknesses exposed. I think we have a marvellous set of defenders, and if we were to take the constant pressure off them and not be clinging on so much, they would all look even better. As it stands, we don't offer a reliable out ball and put way too much strain on ourselves defensively. Disappointing but not really surprised given our style of play.
