Off topic I guess but the improvement in Manquillo from the second half of the season onwards has been massive. Aye, he's grown into a really solid right back in the Premier League. Rarely puts a foot wrong defensively anymore and offers good quality going forward. Not as 'high-flying' as Yedlin, but he does his job quietly well. Better delivery into the box than Yedlin too.

Theregulars[/member] Carles Puyol & Thomas Muller - any tweaks just let me know I'm building the ecommerce website this weekend so they should be ready to order by Sunday - If not we can just arrange it via dm The only thing I can foresee being any issue is the adidas/nike logos which I think I'll be removing when selling online and replacing them with a brand logo/icon for the working name "Panenka FC". The images themselves are digital paintings I've made using illustrator and photoshop with the original image as a reference point for tonality and shadows/highlights so it's fair game as far as I'm aware. Platini and Cruyff are on the list

Man they’re great - I’d absolutely buy one if you did a Puyol or Müller . Could easily sell on Instagram and not too expensive to buy followers / get preferential airtime. Puyol is a great shout. I feel choosing the right selection of players will be key. Cheers for the advice, I'll work up a Puyol & Muller and get a website and social accounts up and running over the weekend I'll give you a shout!

Started making a few of these retro Panini sticker inspired prints. Thinking of doing a set of 'icons' with a nod to the style of those religious icon paintings and setting up a site, marketing them on social media and seeing if they sell. Reckon there's a market, younguns perhaps? A3/A2 prints, t shirts, that sort of thing - or am I trippin?

Totally this. I mean we won tonight so this may sound hollow but we were totally outplayed by Sheffield United. This is the worry. I can't wait to reach 40 points. Imo, having the ball is not synonymous with outplaying a team. We outdone them them tactically and out-fought them. For all their possession they created nothing when it really mattered and had no idea how to break us down when plan A wasn't working. I'd count that header that Dubs saved as creating something like. Second half i think they knew they'd blown their chance. "When it really mattered" meaning the second half when they had to find a way back into the game. We were very, very comfortable all half.

"A missed opportunity. I am okay with that performance, it was always going to be difficult against a team that never shifted. The first goal is really important and it is super difficult when you go behind against a team like Newcastle. "I was told at the start of the season that the linesman would not put his flag up and let it go. He put his flag up and the referee was about to blow his whistle. "Everyone in the ground stopped. Jonjo Shelvey even nonchalantly went up and took an opportunity. His body language said to me he had seen the linesman had put the flag up and he was going to be offside. "The game has changed. This game now is completely different to what I experienced as a 16-year-old lad as an apprentice. This game in a heartbeat has changed. I don't know where it is going and it is sucking the life out of me and the supporters." "If we are going to go to all these tight calls and be super spot on with it, why did the linesman put his flag up? We've looked at it and it is tight. The game has completely changed and it sucked the life out of our players. "I won't speak to the referee. We get so many mixed messages all the time. Jonjo didn't play to the end, he jogged up to the ball and all of a sudden got a bit excited and stuck it in. If he kept his flag down does Jonjo go through and my goalkeeper make a bit more effort?" Imagine not knowing that that was Shelvey at full tilt. Put him in a race with a glacier and he'd finish second. #ExtinctionRebellion

I don't think anybody is elated by having Steve Bruce as manager - some are just not opposed to giving him credit when his team does a good job. Not sure why everything has to be at the extreme ends of the spectrum at all times. You clearly don't know the rules of the internet. It's the internet mate, you can't change your mind or go against the consensus, and ffs stay of the politics thread It's not just the internet, sadly.

Play often continues after the flag goes up. It's nothing new. Play to the whistle not the flag, basics.

Nah man I think there's more to it that to give him credit. We rightly respected them as the better side this season - and banked on the fact they wouldn't be able to break us down due to them only really having one style of play. It was a good away performance and the manager and especially the players deserve credit where it's due.

Outstanding.

Watching the game through black and white specs as usual. Dubs has made 4 saves already in only 45 mins. They are getting into great positions quite regularly, just lacking the finishing touch due to having champo players in attacking positions. Perhaps. Just finding some positives - we're 1-0 up away from home against a good team. I'll save any misery for full time if we happen to lose.
