Both points absolutely true. Particularly the first. lestalkabowfax (regarding the second point, I think we have players on his level in terms of intelligence & quality, but sadly not in his position)

As much as they deserve the win, Villa have had every speculative decision, deflection, bounce of the ball go their way tonight like. One of those.

Would agree but the standard of defending has been punished and you can’t argue with that. True. I still feel like there's a way back into this for us, providing our tactics and application change. The defending hasn't been too bad, it's just two moments of stupidity. Frustrating.
