  1. Arzani would be a class squad signing
  2. I wonder if his knowledge of the criticism of him in his years here has influenced his thinking in terms of leaving? He's obviously aware of it displayed by his goal celebration.
  3. No need My tongue was firmly in cheek with that post of mine, even if the mugs sentiment holds a degree of truth which I personally believe is what all fans are these days who pay to become some kind of card carrying fully paid up member to follow their club in person physically or on their person by way of a replica shirt, especially ours. Mugs for donating their hard earned money to the unworthy cause that is a Mike Ashley ownership and paying the salaries of players and managers like Alan Pardew and Jack Colback who represent themselves and their own personal cause fans’ money brings them ahead of any other other cause, the fans’ own especially. Whatever that now is today. Owners, players and manager whose cause is to their own wealth and fame, control and power - which 90% of those who represent our clubs and our game are loyal to and honour the pursuit of first, even a lot of the good ‘uns amongst them. Any other cause secondary to their own and most fans’ last on the list or not even listed. For Wor Flags I donated to their own cause and although they personally added the names of those who donated to help fund the banner (I opted to remain anonymous), the message WE ARE THE MAGS has the name of everyone of us on that banner anyway which I’ve interpreted as a message to the owner, players and managers and some so-called fans as WE ARE Newcastle United, not you. HTT, I like you and you often make some good points. But you can’t go around calling our own, superb fans which are often all that’s any good about this club ‘mugs’. I’m fully behind anyone who wishes to not attend and also those who do wish to attend, I see good reasons for both positions. Neither are mugs.
  4. The crisp, North Sea air will mend him man.
  5. Would be very happy with him as long as we're getting Rondon too. Welbeck is class when fit, him & Rondon would be very healthy options up top. Welbeck also able to play the role of Almiron or Perez.
  6. He's good aye, bit of an all-round midfielder. Did cost a canny bit from Lille like, £15+ million iirc. Must be nice. No it was definitely Lille
  7. He's good aye, bit of an all-round midfielder. Did cost a canny bit from Lille like, £15+ million iirc. Must be nice. Only front we can compete with Brighton on is seagull population.
  8. He's good aye, bit of an all-round midfielder. Did cost a canny bit from Lille like, £15+ million iirc.
  9. 3 realistic targets I'd like to see are Salomon Rondon, Solly March & Joe Bryan. Tons of potential in the latter two for Rafa to work with, and both seem like decent, hardworking characters.
  10. I've used everyone else bar Hayden, Diame, Ki, Atsu & Manquillo. Dummett has been good for us this season
  11. A bit RTG there isn't it "raising our game for them" when we beat City and have been on this run of form. Plus I could be wrong but wasn't Salah applauded off? Whole stadium clapped Salah off What they crying about man, they won the game I'll now take extra pleasure in watching Messi put them to the sword in their own back yard next week.
  12. Rondon was absolutely brilliant tonight man. Really deserved a point there, but unfortunately it's to be expected due to the quality of officiating in this country.
  13. Unpopular opinion: He's better at attacking than Yedlin (as well as defending, obviously).
  14. Because the refs in this country are horrific. We should start getting the best performing refs from the continent.
  15. Van Dijk looking rattled mind. Apart from stupid, stupid defending, we've been good.
  16. Alexander-Arnold putting Jose Enrique to shame in goal at St James'.
