What is it with these N-O Kevin McClouds? "ooh, look at me I've got a bacony/basement" ?

Watched that "Rise and Fall of the ESL" documentary and couldn't help thinking that Ceferin had a whiff about him. How UEFA subsequently dealt with the scab clubs sort of confirmed it.

Bloke's a fanny. Bitter as fuck. Done absolutely fuck all in his sad little life the only highlight, being, his "pal" having a book or two published. Walter rimmed him relentlessly.

As long as they checked their ages ?

https://fanbanter.co.uk/watford-player-dates-15-year-old/ I'm guessing, if they're still "an item" and she's now 17 there's no issue

They're not similar in as much as Abramovich threw £1.5B of his own wedge into Chelsea whereas the Glaziers have used Man United's own money to fund transfers. And lots of it. It's just hasn't grafted. They have, of course, taken shed loads out of the club for their own gain. Ashley, for tax purposes, put a £110m marker over NUFC & didn't spend a penny. Hall and Shepherd didn't put a penny in either, bought players on future debt and left the club fucked making millions in the process. More like the Glaziers in fact only spent the clubs money/debt more wisely until it ran out.

Match on Sky again. Right NOW

Lots to savour about that game but it typifies every paradox we, NUFC, supporters have to now navigate. Plucky wannabees battling manfully against the mighty City. Best team in the world (sic) etc etc or the new kids on the block going toe to tie? Most people I know just didn't want to get battered. To, at least, show a progression from last year's 9-0 aggregate. Then we concede. Half an hour later were winning 3-1 and seemingly in control. Of course it couldn't last, after all they're Man City, the great Man City. These teams always seem to have another gear or 5 of them coming off the bench. Whatever the errors in each concession one couldn't help thinking if it wasn't that time they'd just come again. It's almost inevitable. It's a measure, tho, of how quickly we've improved that a 3-3 home draw against such vaulted opposition comes with a slight feeling of disappointment. What could've been. Then thinking if we'd won would everyone have got carried away ? Once again Howe gets these lads playing at an improved level. It can only get better as well. One thing I noted, iirc, the commentator saying something about Pep/Man City "when faced with adversity" blah blah. Aye, mate, they just go and spend £100m on a player, poor cunts.

Plus, they actually had Bruce. Double Bruce, if you will.

Noticed him do that at the time and had a chuckle to myself. Kid's a total loon ? I think he's got to be the happiest man alive. Just constantly happy. Be a fucking menace to live with ? Think he's like that "normally" but hope his effervescent enthusiasm for life has a bit to do with NUFC 2022 and the "project"

This. Burn's fault all day. Just stopped tracking Silva. Shit happens.

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

Maybees, if that's actually what he proscribed, because ASM hasn't played at that level much? Maybees, if that's actually what he proscribed, because he trusts his team of superstars to win 99% of their 1 on 1s Regardless, ASM has landed on his feet here and now. He's got a manager, coaches and team that will help him become the player he wants to be. That interview with Tripps is telling. Onwards, upwards -

Not many teams will put 3 past them. Great game that shows, both, how far we've come AND how far we have to go. They are fucking quality and, for large parts of that game, we matched or bettered them. Exciting times ahead and I'm old enough to have memories and a VHS copy of the Man U 5-1

As they say down under, the ref is "a fucking hoon"
