Didn't know of one person that regularly (10 games a year or so) went to their games at either school I was at. Got the free ticket offers in our weekly news though, just had to go to reception to pick them up if you were interested. Be a real shame when they lose such a passionate stronghold

None attending-Mags is getting some traction these days 'I have to work with them...none of them ever attend a match...obviously getting from Penshaw to Newcastle is a massive undertaking.' 'It's the usual reply..."can't get a ticket"...er have you actually tried? I think not!' Its so mackem. I realise this will be harder for them to grasp than any others fans but there's not always 20,000 tickets available at other grounds and every game is a sell-out again now. Looking at their apparent size and the catchmanet areas wonder how many non-attending mackems there must be.

Thats another one. We've not had it tough. As in the post above its 'laughable' that we think so. Yet they'd happily tell us how rubbish we've been and the best days of their lives have been when we've been relegated. So the times they were having a go at us, we actually had it good.!?! Discombobulated cunts

His two goals, very different, were taken absolutely perfectly, both like he had a ton of goals behind him of late. World Cups gonna nip a Willock goal spree in the bud, imagine bolting that on to us.

Could do without any wanky behaviour at the end but was just goading from that video I suppose. Probably been on the recieving end of plenty. Wasn't like that when we were good before (KK, SBR) but different generation I suppose and those were maybe halcyon days between the hooligan era and the pseudo hooligan wannabe era.

"They’ve invested sensibly in established, experienced players for the level they’re at. It’s not rocket science." the response: "Rubbish. Punts on who was available and ‘potential’ They’ve got lucky so far - wait til one of their decent players get sold I think they’ll win fuck all" I love this quote because the first two opinions are so drastically inaccurate and deluded, I hope the last opinion follows suit ,but what I also like is that the person he's responding to never even mentioned winning anything. The protesting too much insecure Freudian slip prick

Would rather do it the Keegan way but this is as much part of the game as going into the corner to kill time is now. That said the lack of it almost certainly cost us at least one title back then So often been done to us and we never felt embarrassed for the other team. So don't hate the player hate the game.

01/02 if that's sneaks in as modern? Kept waiting for it to come to an end, for our levels to drop but they never did. The 4-3 over Man United was a rule not the exception. Pre season expected a midtable slog. Could say 11/12 under Pardew but there was a cloud of it all going to be squandered hanging over everything, for me at least, which it of course was.

Lol, know what you mean. I've been a little gutted when there's no midweek games this season.

Well that's me placated

Nearly said Ivor Broadis there, but turns out he was playing for us at the time. How embarrassing.

I think that's a fair description of his style, only knowing him as a Sheffield United player. Had a wand on him...and nice foppish hair. Could almost have played Sean Bean and vice-versa

The atmosphere was awesome 92-94, then on probably 50/50 until 98. Its natural anywhere that the atmosphere isn't going to be electric when you're a top team used to winning and against bottom placed Bolton than against championship rivals but the context is how many places did Bolton play that year that were better, hardly any if any. Some of the games in the 92/93 season were sub-par but I've since watched season reviews of the other teams and you've got to bare in mind, they've gone from playing in front of 7-9k every week to 28-30k and got a new context on it. I watched the QPR game back from 96 recently, recalling it as an average game with average atmosphere. It was absolutely thunderous by today's standards. The only league cup tie at home I remember having a good atmosphere was Boro in 92. -
1 game to go until, touch wood, a juicy full compliment of players oh my
