All the usual suspects handing out the thrashings too. This must be the result of PSR protecting the competitiveness of the sport that it was said to do. I liked the 'uncompetitive' days when the gaps weren't as bg and if not right then it was at least possible one day to be a match for your opponent better

Had the perfect combination in Eddie's first full season.

They've beat us, we've beat them But we've a cup in the bag and just finished another Champions League campaign. They'll almost certainly never have one and certainly certainly never experience the other

All told, I've hated tonight

I don't blame them for saying these things because if owners were honest then they'd have to say football is basically set the way it is forever more, which cant be good for business. The Cartel > Spurs > us and Villa > the rest of the riff raff

AFCON 2025: CAF overturn final result and award 3-0 victory to Morocco
Wolfcastle replied to Mike's topic in Football
VARing football results. Whilst were at it - Man United disgraceful pen award against Liverpool, Man United goal from outrageous decision against Spurs, Man United goal in Fergie time please send title to Kevin Keegan c/o St James Park, Newcastle -
Might have helped the premier league coefficient if Newcastle and Villa weren't held back to fuck in this competition, just a thought

Ammusing watching PSG beat all these other PL cunts when they've got to cheat to even draw at home to us

Which is so wrong on both counts. Should be able to dream and should be able to feel peril as a football fan. There's never not been fluctuation, cant see the lack of it being much fun. Its basically been a game of musical chairs, they turned the music off a few year ago and everybody freezes where they are.

Passed a big screen in the mall and had the misfortune to see Carteleh Solhekol playing it down on Sky Six News

We'd need the current top 6 to lose more than they win which isn't going to happen. So its on 7th which with only a slight improvement in the win-one lose-one ratio of the season should be on until near the end. Still cant get carried away and as much as most of the games are winnable just as easy a case can be made for not winning any of them. West Ham being the only one I'd be surprised if we didn't win - whether they're still fighting to stay up or already down.

Its that view that's actually gobsmacking. Can only presume being a Peterborough fan where Europe and winning things isn't a factor that like Sunderland fans the pinnacle of football to Durham is winning a derby. There's no way Liverpool (e.g.) would rather beat Everton than overturn this Galatasaray game and its not as big an achievement to them to get to the CL QFs. Playoffs aside Its only when we've been rubbish and had nothing else that its our biggest game which is where they've always been at.

What a run in of fixtures Wolves have, if it wasn't already too late. Brentford, West Ham, Leeds, Spurs, Mackems, Brighton, Fulham, Burnley 1 team in the top half (Brentford).

Was just about to say. Tell us you've achieved nothing in over 50years relative to your rivals and that it bothers you but in the form of a rant about potential flag displays.

Tudor v Perreira next. Two managers without a league win all season

Heard this all season after every good result no matter how many times the season reminds you otherwise.
