Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)
Wolfcastle replied to Disco's topic in Football
Its more of a team effort now which doesn't appear to suit him, he's more the 10 playing off the forward in a free-role of days of yore. If that's what were going to be going forward, gonna be tricky. -

Got us needing 2 more points. I daren't say who I've got going down in case it doesn't come true (and that's inspite of my pessimism not wishful thinking)

Newcastle United 1 - 0 Wolverhampton Wanderers (08/04/2022)
Wolfcastle replied to Disco's topic in Football
Would have taken a point, expected a tight game, in fact no more than we got, so well placated. Lost in the relief formerly nervousness but massive that. Got us only needing 2points now. -

The villian in that was Mr Big. Conveniently also Bruce's Mr Men character. Mr Sh1tc*nt wasn't suitable for ages 2-5. -
I can't imagine fans of any biggish club getting off just on having played at a reconstructed Wembley unless they've won which is telling. Its a 'good day out' for small clubs in the FA Vase or freak cup finalists like Bradford. I doubt even Palace fans play with themselves for getting beat in the cup final a few years back, many can't wait to get out and away its that great an experience, the losing end is empty in 5'. Getting beat in a league cup final is the pinnacle of their clubs existence since 1992. Snap with Tranmere and Bradford.

Its a right head scratcher. I can't work out whether I want him to start tomorrow or come off the bench. Weirdly I don't like the idea of bringing him on or off if were losing the game. There's really nothing to bring on but him though in that case. Feel or fear we'd be more likely to go behind with him but unlikely to come from behind without him. -
I've only got Everton getting another 6, yet feel we need another 6 too, factoring in the room for error of football's capacity to make absolutely no sense at all. 5

That plus his stats = his wiki page. As pesimist Ihope Chelsea's form doesn't put our performance there the other week into a less encouraging perspective

Newcastle United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers, 8/4/2022 @ 20:00 (Sky)

Might be a generalism as a neutral but I find they've always been really hard to predict. Feels as likely to be a decent game as completely turgid. -

Aye didn't even start then during term-time of his 'dream job' with us, not a chance he's starting then during his summer holidays. -
Indulging in something related to Newcastle from following Newcastle staff on twitter to gigs in Newcastle where someone from Newcastle who is a well known proud Newcastle fan is performing and getting bitter, insecure and enraged by it every time, is pretty f*cking sick.

I've got Burnley getting way more points than Everton so I don't know what I want here.

I fear this growing awareness of the pros and cons balance/risk with him is going to be a hinderance, can imagine him trying too hard in a me-me-me way to counter act it and its just going to build. Due a good performance, one of these homes games surely. -
Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

He's a cracking manager. Is the player in the penalty box Shellvey? Looks just like him.
