Just the standard delusion, racism, ignorance and show of class "I think on current form we’d definitely beat Southampton and we’d definitely give them lot on the dark side a game. Turd-hair aside there’s not much to them other than height" I fancy Southampton to win at the Burka. Once the oil stops selling, the murderers will be off quicker than a beheading. They have to roll over and have their tummies tickled like every team does when they play Newcastle. Someone doing his ACL in during the 2nd leg would be fantastic. (on Bruno) Commentary team wetting themselves with excitement (literally a former Sunderland player) Come 2033, Playing at the Sheikdome"

Bit of spice for the second leg. 0-2 would just have been a celebration procession.

Average performance at best. Still plenty of chances, the better team, clean-sheet and win. Need some additions. The team is sound. The parts need a spark.

What is with red and white striped c*nts not making an atmosphere in semi-finals, not selling out and f*cking off early?

Don Badman

Its handball. Whether they give it or not mind is up for grabs

Rarely plays well but can finish chances and half-chances better than anyone else. If were not creating chances for him. He's Wood.

Cant recall a team more in need of new arrivals to keep its momentum strong than this.

Flying a flag of a country whose government as well as the majority of its population the Saudi's are supporting will show those Saudi's. Imagine how many letters and emails they've sent over the years about stuff like this. True to form, their wins probably bother Dawn as much as the rest of us, but they think its an equivalent seeth from us as it is from them when we win.

We'll be spending to try and get back to where we currently are in the summer I feel. Like 04 to 03. Accepting we can't get prime targets now but we can't be that inflexible that we do nothing here. My biggest fear all season is that the small squad can't keep this level up and some better quality tinkering alone would be a big difference. Some good loans could make a big difference but I'd be inclined to pay a premium now on what we plan to pay in the summer with the investment currently more likely to pay off.

Lampard would have been about 14 the one year Hutchison was there, but his old man was Harry's number two.
-
We haven't been as good as they are now since 1991 in fairness.
-
The first thing it'll do is stub out the level of toxicity at that vile place, that's probably the best thing they could do in itself
-
Dyche and a Joe Royle 94/95 style turn around playing brutal football. Then the momentum will wear off they'll drop back to the lower reaches and we go again
-
Aye but that was to get a team to be a bit more expansive whilst getting the balance right, complete wholesale turnarounds in performances and results are simples.
-
The 1-1 draw in 94/95 was more one-sided than the 5-0 too. They couldn't get out of their half in the second-half. Heck of a performance. Albert was another whose form held up in the second half of the season. Showed real desire and leadership. (*Also a title winner previously) It was harsh on Gillespie as he only came back against QPR, but he didn't perform well indiviually in those games but maybe gave balance. Remain convinced we were the better team. Not sure how many games we were second best in, maybe West Ham & Arsenal away and Liverpool at home but there wasn't much in it compared to what we did to Man United and Leeds and Liverpool twice ran rings round them and Spurs thrashed them. Nobody did that to us.

Totally agree on Batty, its irrefutable really, 8-10 out of 10 every match. Gap was already 6points when he debuted. 3 by the end of his debut that we dominated. He's the last person to blame. Batty and Beardsley apart I'd argue Tino was out best player after we signed him. Won the game for us from the bench at Boro, goal and great assist at Man City, two beautiful assists and a goal against West Ham in a MOTM performance, great assist an goal at Liverpool, great assist against Spurs. Ferdinand, Ginola, Gillespie and Lee I don't think contributed as much.
-
Kids, chill!! You're both shite
-
With a great strike from Batty, let the record show.
-
Don't think that's a minority view its just compared to Man United/Liverpool
-
Still not okay with VAR fucking up moments like that
-
Arsenal have scored more goals against Man U than they had shots against us
-
Most of the Everton players didnt acknowledge the fans. Cant blame them after the shit they've been getting doing that and stuff last week crossed the line. A small yet possible important negative critique of Lampard's work

Blackburn on for their first draw of the season (is this a record btw?)
