FA Carling Premiership Was around 97 when it stopped being called that

Yeah would like to have seen a few replays to see if wasn't hand-ball in the Burn incident, looked like it and our players appealed for it but not enough replays to judge. Definitely makes a meal of it, they did for both incidents. Instinctively the second didn't look like one and the ref might have been savvy enough to know they were looking for something, anything after the first.

Pretty Green Eyes too. The song, not the bloke.

Ball went in the complete opposite direction to what he was aiming for and sent Pope on is all

Its not just this season we've been lucky "week after week, year after year"
-
One of them (Spurs fans) got on the pitch and attacked their own keeper against us in the 7-1. They scored at the other end as this was happening. So Spursey,

Niall Quinn - done for drink driving Sunderland player, manager, figurehead owner and legend

Hesitate to says its not the plan and what happens is plan A doesn't work so they have to abort it second half because it was like that under Dalglish here. Plod along and if we need to score go for it in the 20'. F*ck knows the reasoning behind it.

Makes our performance at Arsenal where they didn't do enough to deserve a win look even better. Conte joining Moyes, Rodgers and Lampard on the brink?
-
Wasn't worried about Spurs anyway but even less so now. Not saying they wont catch us cos logic doesn't always come into it, just that I'm not worried.

Know its not much but Pope was straight on the double touch. Feel some of the keepers we've had wouldn't be. Soon as he was I realised what it was. (something similar happened against Bilbao years ago)

I see the bed wetting didn't pay off again

Double touch

Typical Fulham really. Naff game. Batter them. They nick it.

Been distinctly the better team, again and should be winning. Cant ask any more of the overall
-
The team and coaching has covered up great for individual frailties that are shown when it comes down to the individual (Longstaff).
-
Yep. Everyone fit not suspended, I can see only going for who we really want and youngsters, but it was never going to happen and were there now.
-
First I've heard of it, so no. (like Ronaldo) (Knew they'd done some sort of deal though)
-
Hope he doesn't get booed because people think booing former players is what you do and circumstances don't come into it. Pissing in the wind I know.
-
Definitely a bit dicey this so no bed-wetting please (at least in the ground). Thought the Chelsea game could have gone either way and so it proved. Plus there one of those anyway against us, owt could happen. Was a bit shan playing on Thursday but its still effectively just 1hour shy of a typical Wednesday-Saturday schedule.

Forest had no choice because of the amount of players they lost in the summer than to build a new team. By doing so they've given themselves a chance of breaking the Norwich routine. You're probably no more or less likely to come a cropper doing it the Forest or Norwich way. Either way if you don't bounce back you lose any advantage you had.

Was something with Middlesbrough in 90/91 down by the goose and gardens that's been documented. Nothing in the ground. Nobody was interested in the game.

That made sense compared to harrassing Simms whose been on loan at Sunderland until a few weeks ago and played half an hour.
