Feel like this often happens at the start of the season where there are mad decisions that end up never happening again after a few weeks. Anyone saying that's a red card just hasn't watched football for a while, it's the sort of thing that's so often ignored, the players getting given a telling to, or results in a yellow for Diaz.

Considering just how specific coaching gets, it wouldn't surprise me if the next thing was teams having a covert referee coach, ie knowing what they're like and exploiting it

Was thinking about this before, I'm pretty sure Howe's record with centre backs is 100% throughout his career. He can sign anyone he wants in my eyes.
