That side of Bruno's game is really underrated imo. I reckon I see him play those balls more often than most of the more specialist AM/10s a lot are hankering for.

The Forest fan who's often on Loaded Mag and always spins everything that happens into being good for them, is disappointed he's leaving and really highly rates him.

Yeah, so you're describing how your mind works with this in practice. Presumably if I said that that's just a practical definition of prejudice or bigotry though, bringing in those terms would be the point where you'd kick off with me.

Would it be fair to say that the bit in bold might be because you're of a generation that's been taught to know better than to make that assumption? That maybe the hans of the 1970s wouldn't know better, and would make assumptions like that about punks, or Bowie and Boy George types? That maybe the hans of the 2040s might know better when it comes to the assumptions 2020s hans is making? Hope that makes sense, I just don't see much sense in what you're saying like, weird or unusual has always been a thing and although the whole 'deconstructing gender' thing has come to the fore much more in recent years not just in subcultures but in the mainstream, I don't see any logical automatic step with any of it to go from that to mental illness.

I don't look at the image and think about mental illness at all, no, that's not an 'ooh look at me' I just think that's a pretty baseless assumption. That's not to say I look at it and think it's 'normal' but abnormal fashion sense and mental illness aren't bedfellows and any other assumptions I might have about attention seeking for example still stop short of anything about mental illness at all. That's kind of what I mean when I say if it's not bigotry then it's possibly just being a bit sheltered. Sorry, I know that sounds a bit patronising. Can only speak personally like, but I think if you have any experience of being part of or dipping your toes into counter culture where free expression through fashion is more the norm (eg punk, dnb, drag), I think one of the first preconceptions you lose is judging books by their covers. Even just if you've been to Camden 20 years ago, you might find it a bit weird or whatever, but I don't think you're walking around thinking of it like you're walking through St Nicks. On Barnes, I just don't agree really. I'm not naïve, I know that his appearance undoubtedly plays a part in him being a figure of fun for a lot of people, but I don't think it's at all the main subject (on here anyway) vs his character, the tight fistedness even with someone who raised money for him, the relentless moving houses, the one-liners he's come out with. There's no way he becomes a meme if he's just a bloke who looks like he does that got burgled years ago. I argued this at the time tbf, I think it's a bit patronising to hold back on laughing about how he goes on because of his appearance and (assumed) disability, but I get that not everyone thinks that.

Admins sticking up for their own is what I heard.

The context is a distinction without a difference isn't it? I'm only talking about your posts where you're saying it's fair to assume mental illness based on what he's wearing. Can only take you on what you're saying on that one, unless you're not meaning what you're saying. As an aside I dunno why anyone thinks Alan Barnes' is a forum meme because of his disability like, ironically I think someone had a go at me years ago on here because that was the assumption.

I think you've done a decent job of explaining it tbh hans. In your mind dressing like you're in the Rocky Horror Picture Show means its fair to assume mental illness. I'd say it's pretty fair to see that as bigotry or at the very least the result of being canny sheltered like, as much as you've pre-emptively scoffed at that. Also seems a bit mad for someone who's posted about their own mental foibles, presumably while dressed normally to be throwing that one around. I was with you initially, don't think what Kenny said needs any tone/joke policing, but ironically it was you saying that in your reply where I was like fucking hell, you're making their point for them there, that's a mad thing to say.

Appears seriously mentally ill eh. Interesting.

Everyone who says they self censor even in private is telling the truth.

Very questionable data that mind. No source, no method, no gauge on frequency, whether it's chatGPT or all AI, usage vs all of its alternatives eg Google searches.

Man City and Arsenal do it canny often. Pulis was a visionary. -
Watch 'minus 17' on YouTube when you can.

Absolutely buckled at the phrasing of "so calling someone a baby rapist is fine yeah?"

Thanks Working now?

Seems canny unlikely that this is happening like. Heard nothing back for months. Anyway, fuck it, here's what I submitted. I have to limit what I can post because of the image sizes, but if you want to look for yourself they're all here.
