Rashford put in a level of defensive effort that can only be excused in the modern game if you're Messi conserving energy. I want to start out by saying he's not Zanetti and he's not Lampard, but hopefully you'll get what I mean when I say that he shares what they had in that he does the basics at an extremely high level and makes everything he does look like it's the basics.

Hard to comprehend that a 17 year old can play with that level of maturity. The amount of times he makes a wise choice is incredible, sometimes he'll get the ball and I think I know what he's going to do because of his age, then he does the thing a 25 year would do
