  1. Yeah, I'm just disagreeing with you on a part of ASM's game, it has nothing to do with my trust in Howe at all.
  2. Of course, but whatever reasons they have for being okay with getting rid of him don't need to be the same as yours.
  3. I don't think anything shows that tbh, but you're right in that the stats show the opposite
  4. What if you want to see whether a player would be a more effective assister with better finishers around them? It's absolutely relevant like, Willock's high up in this stat as well and we all saw it was a weakness in the player who most often missed those big chances (Longstaff)
  5. He doesn’t. You don't need stats to see that he's one of the most successful dribblers in the league, but if you did use stats you'd see he's number 1. You don't need stats to see that it's very rare that his dribbles don't result in a completed pass to a team mate, often in the penalty area, but if you did use stats you can see they back that up. Likewise assists and expected assists, so I've no idea where this idea he plays more like Adama Traore comes from, but it's nothing like the player I see.
  6. Ironically all players who are only seen as having actual output in hindsight. At the time they were playing they had the very same 'no end product' criticisms thrown at them that ASM's getting now. As keeps getting mentioned, last season ASM was in the top 4 centile for assists per 90. That's actual output. He's in the top 4 centile for expected assists, that should be actual output if the players he's put it on a plate for could finish.
  7. The idea that ASM plays anything like this is pure fiction imo like.
  8. Now that Rob M has said he won't be there tonight, and Adam P then Craig Hope backed it up. I can confirm that he won’t be there tonight, I can assure you
  9. It'll just move on to someone else. That repressed rage has to be channelled somewhere
  10. What he should have done is got a job lobbying for tax cuts and privatising the NHS. So that the criticism flows to where it naturally belongs - the charity of professional footballers
  11. And there are people who think some ex-player pundits are only there because of their race or gender and not the fact that if you're an ex-player you have a license to talk unmitigated shit for a living. Fletch won't ever shut up, McManaman is a partisan whingebag, Michael Owen's chiming in with a "well as a striker I would have tried to score a goal in the football net" and Savage is ruining historic visuals to the extent that if he just honked his clown nose and played a slide whistle it would be Lawrence Olivier narrating The World at War by comparison. BT is very much the new ITV in terms of quality.
  12. Very strong The Rockers/Koko B. Ware vibes
  13. Goretzka's a strange player like, I feel like no one ever talks about him at all.
  14. Tbf to Edwards, it did absolutely smack of the obvious corporate woke-ism (with want for a better term) that far too many people take at face value as sincere rather than the callous PR that it really is.
  15. It might be Wilson vs Brighton actually. I absolute lost it at that, my assumption was that we'd walk Leicester so that was us guaranteeing CL qualification
  16. Bellamy vs Feyenoord my lass at the time's dad was on earlies so I had to keep it down. I just remember screaming into a pillow (not for the first ((or last)) time, eh! EH!)
  17. Going for the 2016 Champions League
  18. N-O stock post #73: swap deals almost never happen
  19. Gayle vs Norwich is up there like. I was in The Terrace Bar and the celebrations were like being in a mosh pit
