  1. Yeah, nothing particularly groundbreaking.
  2. Kevin Maguire is currently on Loaded Mag talking about it.
  3. I think this was when he thought it was going to replace the existing rules, rather than run alongside them.
  4. From what I'm reading, at the moment this is something that is a non-event for us directly, but it is in the sense that it hinders the sky 6 and theoretically stops them pulling away further.
  5. I've immediately changed my mind. He probably would be good as cover.
  6. It couldn't be any other way, if you get in the CL you need to be hitting 70%. It's the related parties rules that potentially change things.
  7. Don't get the clamouring for Mbeumo at all tbh. He plays in that position, but doesn't suit how we play at all, he's more like a CF that plays at RW.
  8. The regs themselves apparently. The bottom section: It ALSO opens up the opportunity for EPL to relax related-party deals... as hard cap x4.5/5 times of central broadcast revenues distribution creates an upper limit that doesn't stop investment, just market-distorting investments.
  9. Will be interesting to see just how much the 3rd party rules are relaxed to go alongside this.
  10. If it doesn't happen we're fucked I think, it would mean that we'd have a lower turnover to wages ratio without being able to generate a higher amount of related-party revenue.
  11. I can't see it working, but I think it's definitely an interesting move to make and sort of forces those clubs to show their hand.
  12. The same people were terrible under Wenger at the end as well. They've been largely ignorable imo, but ever since our 0-0 last season and especially Gordon's goal against them this season their online fans have gone out of their way to make sure everyone knows they're the weirdest cunts going.
  13. I would say the view comes from Arsenal's online fans being by far the worst. Way, way worse than anyone else in the league by quite some distance. It shouldn't tarnish them all with the same brush, but if you want to be specific about it you can and just say that Arsenal's online fans are the worst in the league, and they are.
  14. Another in a long list of fantastical Saudi projects that was never ever going to be realised. Just complete fantasy-land stuff almost to like Bioshock's Rapture and Columbia levels.
  15. I don't know anything about them tbf, but Seymour and Harvey were down as defenders on Wiki and their honours are pretty impressive. I suppose positions change over the years.
  16. Stan Seymour, Joe Harvey or Joe Kinnear ahead of Roeder, no?
  17. This time of season especially is absolute chaos central like, unless it's Man City. I look at our fixtures and I think based on what I've seen of us this season 4 points seems the most realistic but you just never know. I'm about as confident that Burnley will beat us as I was that Villa (a) would.
  18. E-I-E-I-E-I-O, down the prediction league I go. Jesus wept, what a fall off.
  19. IIRC everyone loved the 125 year kit Puma did (sponsor spoiling it aside) Our best kit in years, that.
  20. Everything is telling me 2 nil Burnley like, it definitely has that feel about it.
  21. Arsenal are just as much bottlers as Spurs are so I wouldn't write either if them off if they were in Spurs' position.
  22. Wild take maybe, but I think Schär is at his worst when it's too easy for him. My gut is saying that he plays like he knows he can play at a lower level and win comfortably, but it's maybe a level that's just below what's needed.
