12 of them were when Hall and Tino were injured and in the 3 we improved defensively, he scored, and our results improved, but okay. Must just be that I'm looking at things wrong.
-
Continuously? Pretty sure he's only played LB those few times recently when it wasn't out of necessity (Hall and/or Tino injured) this season.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

The most testing transfer I've had to endure tbh. -
Don't think anyone's disputing that tbf. No one's saying we should keep playing like this.
-
Why would you assume add ons? No one does that with transfer fees. And that's inflation for you, Shearer and Ferdinand alone in todays money would be £300m+ alone. And as I say, we got something for the money spent, dunno why that keeps getting ignored.
-
A.I, howeh. Tell it it's wrong (it's included his Bournemouth spend there btw)and see what happens (it'll start by saying something like "you're right to call me out...") Or just go to transfermarkt as an actual source. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eddie-howe/spielertransfers/trainer/10976/station_id/342157/plus/1

Goes up every time I see this. Just the 200 million out. That's before adjusting for inflation, the context of what other clubs were spending when we were under Keegan for example, the context of what the squad was like on each manager's arrival, and what we achieved with what was spent.

Think it's probably an exception that proves the rule. Similar to Villa with their penchant for long rangers.
-
David Brent insisting that technically him and Tim are both in their 30s energy.
-
Not including via the FA Cup, Burnley in 17-18 on -3
-
That's part of the point though, even they had the same drop off when transitioning from one set of players to another. Is the expectation of Howe that he should have been able to outperformed them?
-
Klopp and Guardiola bounced back from the same points % drop off just a couple of seasons ago, if the Ferguson example's not seen as relevant.

The way some people talk about players and a manager who are club legends is absolutely rank like. Hardly news like but some of our fans and football fans just in general are absolute cunts.
-
Pull the other one Pilko, you knew when you were posting that that I'd take up my right of reply like. You can call me condescending all you like, I'm not saying anything that isn't true. Enjoy being right I suppose.

The persistent doom-mongering was finally right, once, a good 5 seasons of achievement later. It's a mental thing to be gloating about.
-
4, easily. You've got to put a scale on these things.

Need the Eternal Sunshine treatment for this season.

Fulham vs. Newcastle United: 24/05/26 @ 16:00 (Sky Sports)

The whole he wants to play Burn no matter what thing seems far deeper tbh. -
From the sounds of it, his status here should be even better than it is. It was him that got in touch with Staveley about buying the club IIRC. What a bloke though, funny when you think that the two people who really were an antidote for a lot of people during the Ashley era were Ben Arfa and Rafa and they couldn't have been more different from each other.
-
Oh right yeah sorry, clearly I'm the dickhead and the cunt in this back and forth between us, my mistake.
-
You've laid bare your mental health position? Sorry but I have no idea what you're on about, I'm replying to some daft post about how working in a proper job somehow invalidates other types of stress or pressure. I'm asking if you're gone in the head because you read an analogy as me apparently 'using cancer to win an argument'. Hope your MH improves, but at the same time you're not the only one, absolutely nee need for the name calling.
-
Are you gone in the head? It's a well-worn analogy man. As in someone else having worse problems doesn't invalidate other people's problems.
