  1. From a selfish point of view: good. He's wrecked and hasn't had a rest for 2 years, I'd rather he came back and started where he left off last season. Definitely don't want him peaking by Christmas.
  2. I accept the Foden anonymous point..but...he did hit the post twice didn't he? Fair to say either of those go in and the story about him is different?
  3. Finally arrived. Definitely not better quality (pro vs pro) than Castore. Turns out I'm not as fat as I thought I was. Got XL and am probably an L. Hope they'll let me swap.
  4. Hey, why not. Pickford: 6.5 Walker: 6 Stones: 6 Guehi: 7.5 Trippier: 6 Rice: 5 TAA: 4.5 Gallagher: 6 Bellingham: 5 Foden: 6.5 Kane: 4.5 Saka: 5.5 As a team: 3
  5. You say this like I didn't watch Capello's World Cup 2010. Not saying it isn't shite mind, it is.
  6. Next stop: a top class manager, more failure, and the fans pivoting to the players they previously claimed were being held back being divas.
  7. These references need to do the opposite of Live Forever
  8. You want a meritocracy, this is what you get. Gordon should also be on like
  9. I'm actually starting to 'get' Gallagher. At least in the context of an alternative to Trent anyway.
  10. Feels like a "arr aye, you want changes do you?' set of subs
  11. There are 3 in the middle aren't there? It's like for like and Trent is stinking the place out. Short of a reshuffle that means moving Foden central, Bellingham back and Gordon on the left it's the obvious sub.
  12. How do I think Pep would do with any of them? If the argument is that our talent is so good that a semi and a final isn't good enough and happened in spite of Southgate not because of him, then surely anyone else would do better?
  13. How on earth is that an awful sub? It should have been made at half time
  14. This is the first tournament where I think the talent argument is even credible tbh and that's mainly because of Bellingham and Rice developing. Previously the talent has been overhyped. We have good players but even if they were as good as people think they are, I'm still not sitting here thinking we have more talent overall than France and possibly a couple of others.
  15. Tbf 3 of that back 4 are the only ones who can come out of that generation and say they performed.
  16. I really don't like us being an 'England expects' team. Much more enjoyable when we're underdogs
  17. The roses look like they're doing canny well tbf. Can tell he longs to be back at work though
  18. Inzaghi and Klose as your favourite players from Italy and Germany is cursed man. Pure trolling
  19. There's no way Messi hasn't done that. Maybe Inzaghi was the only one before then. Edit: he has. And he did it consecutively
  20. Italy: Maldini France: Ben Arfa Spain: Iniesta Holland: Cruyff Don't usually like picking players before my time but I've seen and read enough about Cruyff to know he's my favourite.
