His opening gambit was utterly bizarre and set the tone for ruffling Howe's feathers and fingers being pointed at him tbh. Plenty said as much at the time and Howe had tons in the bank even before the success of this season. I thought it had all been resolved after all of that drama, but it seems like for whatever reason now it's not going to work out.

Yeah definitely. You essentially need another Howe in that position for when he eventually leaves, but then you'd also expect them to move with Howe.

I know it isn't the fashionable thing to do anymore, but the way I see it, if Howe was just a DoF and not also a Manager, he (with Nickson anyway) would be as coveted as anyone we'd be considering

No way is that deliberate imo. Classic case of panicking and hitting the accelerator instead of the brake, it's a weird phenomenon. Sounds weird as well but I think if it was deliberate they'd have done more damage. Just hope everyone's okay.

In terms of best goals it's probably one of Tonali's, Isak vs Liverpool, Barnes vs Wolves, but for me it's Isak vs Liverpool in the final. Up there with the best moments in my life.

Surely if you're Martinez, you know it's Hojlund and just leave him to it.

So many moments in the season. I even think back to Barnes's beauty against Wolves when we'd played badly. Really hard to pick one definitive moment but I reckon I'd go with Man United beating Villa
