  1. Think I've got 9 points and am fairly happy with that. Weird day of results
  2. I absolute hate that Spurs are right near us despite being relentlessly dog shit
  3. It's a combination of things. Dickheads being incapable of being quiet for 1 minute and selfish dickheads who prove it by going "Well I'm clapping!" Cunts
  4. Kid Icarus

    Loris Karius

I wouldn't be so sure about that like. Kasper Schmeichel's save against Mason Mount comes to mind...or Karius himself
  5. Aye, I was confident that if we got one before 85 minutes we'd get a draw even with 10 men. My main annoyance was with Wilson with his shit attempt at a finish meaning that it wasn't going to happen.

    Loris Karius

Proper Mighty Ducks type plot-line. Hope he can step up
  7. Kid Icarus

    Nick Pope

He's literally the number 1 most successful sweeper 'keeper in the league.
  8. We finally look like we're going to get a tune out of him and that happens
  9. Mate, I got grief for blocking someone's view of the match while protesting to get rid of Mike Ashley. I've known people who were started on and spat at for the same thing. If you've been going to SJP for years and have only just come to the realisation that some of our fans are absolute cunts, you can consider yourself lucky.

I could have sworn that's happened

Last man or not is nigh on always used as part of the argument for whether it's a clear goalscoring opportunity or not. Agree, re the bit in bold, that's what I meant when I was saying it doesn't include the 'keeper. As frivolous as it might be, it's probably worth the gamble in the circumstances
  12. Not sure who this is aimed at like, bit weird

Was definitely instinct rather than deliberate, but it's worth appealing regardless of whether they extend it or not. The argument that he wasn't last man can be made as Longstaff was technically back, just not sure if that's even the criteria anymore. Last man usually means the last man before the 'keeper.
  14. Unless the chaos God of football has decided that this is all part of Karius's redemption arc, that was nightmareish and baffling. Trippier twice fucking up our line, Pope doing the only thing he couldn't do and severely weakening us for the final, Liverpool still being poor at the back but Burn and Schär being 50 pence heads, and Wilson shooting with all the conviction of a hangover fart. For some reason it's made my lass's dad more convinced than ever that we're going to win next week. Pope: 2 Dubravka: 6 Trippier: 4 Schär: 6 Botman: 5.5 Burn: 6 Longstaff: 5.5 Joelinton: 6 Almiron: 6 Isak: 6.5 ASM: 7 Wilson: 5 Gordon: 5.5 Murphy: 6
  15. Probably because they're being played by Trent Alexander-Arnold and he's being afforded plenty of time and space to do it.

Still worth appealing in the circumstances
  17. A half of absolute nightmares. Trippier shocking for their goals, Pope losing his mind. Two of our most consistent players completely shitting the bed, unreal.
  18. How could this have possibly gone any worse. Fucking hell
  19. A couple of shock results today like. Football's class.
  20. In the end, it was that we couldn't see the Wood for the fees.
  21. No goals after half an hour. Mad.
  22. This statement has just made me realise my memory's shite. I'm sure we've had some absolute belters fairly recently
  23. Some might be sick of your whingeing about whingeing.
