Still think he can turn it around if they give him the chance to. I can't help it, the relationship might be a waste of time, but I still think he's an excellent manager. Still wouldn't have him here though, that ship has sailed now and I don't think he'd get the patience he was afforded previously.

Ironic that he was far better than what we've had for most of the season yet their goal still came from that side and him not stopping the cross (obviously Lascelles being out-jumped is still a big part of them scoring)

Let's be honest, we should all be on 10. Having 1 win yet being 1 win away from getting out of the relegation zone is insane. The dross in the league is highly concentrated this year.

The only thing I don't get is this whole idea of 'you criticised X so you must criticise Y' because it requires you to completely ignore all context - their records, the difference in time, the fact that two things (bad squad and good/bad manager) can be true at once. If Trippier makes a mistake and Lascelles makes the same mistake, one's going to get more stick than the other because these things don't exist in isolation - the same sort of thing applies to managers and we had years and years to make those distinctions between Rafa and Bruce to the extent that they were more or less 100% known entities. Howe undoubtedly sits in-between those two in terms of how much rope they'll get from fans to get it right.

Definitely true and the forum continues to have those sort of crazy opinions ready to go to a certain extent. Whenever it's brought up or mocked though, the people with less extreme opinions seem to think you're talking about them for some reason.

This lad is exactly why we're prioritising a central defender over the other pressing need for midfielders. An absolute liability all game and out-jumped with ease for their goal. Total fucking dog shit, always has been always will be.

Was my choice of the player I'd most want from Brighton when everyone was doing the fantasy football stuff after the takeover. Think most wanted Lamptey but Cucurella has been their stand out player every time I've watched Brighton.

I understand that, but time and resources are mutually exclusive at the moment. I wouldn't expect or want Nicky Hammond to be spending too much time working on getting a number 10 considering the other positions that are desperately needed. If it's being lined up for the summer that's a different story.
