  1. I thought that's what Dummett was going to do. Who knows, maybe he's being trained to do it.
  2. Ah man, I thought for a second it was going to be the Buzzcocks edit
  3. Turns out his interview was the least painful one I've seen, he's very eloquent tbh.
  4. Of course, I think it's just because it's a bit full on. He goes on like Salacious B Crumb and that's funny/beg-y
  5. £3m is nothing like, looks a great deal
  6. It's not hate though, it's just laughing at him/finding it a bit odd that he's a proper beg about a club he barely played for, similar to the way Dubravka went on when he went to Man United on loan.
  7. The agenda against him is because he's an antagonistic, contrarian, conceited bellend who also regularly gets things wrong and revels in needlessly winding people up. But then most journalists are narcissistic tbh, even the better ones. Football fandom is full of irrational hatred, so it would hardly be a big deal anyway, but at least in Edwards' case it IS backed up with sensible reasoning
  8. Romano isn't just an aggregator of news stories like, that's total nonsense.
  9. It's been a cracking match
  10. Rigg's who we're after isn't it?
  11. The Mackems should be out of sight, bit that's a lush goal by Cairney
  12. Or if it's the other lad. "Anth, what do you make of Newcastle United so far? Not just as a football club, but as a person"
  13. It's only natural that people will pile on and amplify it when someone as antagonistic, conceited, contrarian, and generally unlikeable as Edwards gets things wrong. I don't think it's anything he hasn't brought on himself or anything he doesn't revel in tbh.
  14. He looks every bit the Trippier understudy like.
  15. Would be canny funny if they'd continued abusing him like the Everton fans did.
  16. If you think about it, is there really any reason why Rafa being manager and DoF wouldn't work?
  17. He really does look like Stewie Griffin
  18. Aye, he has all the misery and attempted humour of Lawrensen, without ever being funny in the accidentally Partridge way Lawrensen sometimes was.
  19. Aye, decent points total as well. A legendary manager getting you to 10th when you've spent a fortune is pretty damning though. I still maintain Rafa would have kept them up like, he made some daft decisions though and his ego was a problem
  20. I'm sure Matterface is terrible but he's very easy to tune out I find.
