  1. Course they are, they're Man United fans. You have to go a long way to find one that isn't at least 1% Terry Christian
  2. No idea what Forest's plan in this was like. It appeared to be let's hold onto this 3-0 deficit
  3. Hardly his fault tbh, Hearts were awful in every way that half. I'm not even sure he touched the ball
  4. It's more or less a dead rubber tbf
  5. I've been watching this Hearts Rangers match for 15 minutes and Kuol hasn't touched the ball once. Not his fault either, the quality is canny low.
  6. Hearts are suicidally open at the back
  7. Man United Forest is incredibly boring so I'll see how Kuol gets on.
  8. Man United pretty much full strength. That miserable old git assured me this morning that the top teams don't take this cup seriously, strange.
  9. Just noticed something that I think sums it all up. That second goal, probably my favourite goal of the season, a goal that followed some excellent free-flowing football and movement that I haven't seen in a Newcastle team for decades. Willock, Joelinton, Almiron, Longstaff. All of them Ashley-era signings. What Eddie's done with this squad is unbelievable.
  10. It's the FOMO for me, regardless of whether I went down to London or went into town. I have visions of the streets being deserted.
  11. I'm starting to lean towards watching in the house so I can see what's going on, then going into town if we win.
  12. FWIW when I change my sound settings to Sport on my telly it always sounds much better. I think SJP is really badly mic'd in terms of capturing the atmosphere tbh, possibly to limit the amount of swearing you'd hear.
  13. We should never forget as well (mainly saying this because I just forgot for a minute) that in terms of effort it's a 10 again, and for me that's still all that matters after 14 years of our effort being 0.
  14. Here's the big question though. If you're not going to the match, do you go into town or go to London? I think it's one of those ones where you wish you could be in both places at once.
  15. 5 I think losing Shelvey with no like-for-like replacement is a mistake. That alone has a big impact on the rating for me. Without that I'd probably give it a 7. Looking back it may end up being a brilliant one if Howe continues turning water into wine though.
  16. tbh Fabinho being banned for our match would have possibly worked in Liverpool's favour with the way he's been playing this season.
  17. Part of me thinks that similar to Wor Flags, we need a fan-lead initiative where a group of fans say right, we're going to all get seats next to each other and sing non-stop. Another part of me thinks that you have to leave things as they are and that the best atmospheres happen organically
  18. The source is enough of a reason as well like, that lad never gets anything right
  19. The weird thing for me with the SJP atmosphere is that in league games it's always been better than in the cups, but then we get to a semi, the season ticket holders come back, but it still has largely has that same cup atmosphere. Last night was pure nerves from what I could tell.
  20. I mean, if a club can be endebted to the owner's own company, which can then be written off by that company, FFP is the joke that we all probably know it is. It's as ridiculous as the idea that the PIF is a seperate entity to the Saudi state.
  21. Weirdly, the player that seems to look most tired to me is Isak. Even 10 minutes after coming on he's running like he's recovering from whooping cough.
  22. I wouldn't consider a tackle that's at ball height and not 'over the ball' - as the expression goes - as high, it's late and reckless agreed, but not high.
  23. Haven't seen a single Newcastle fan try to say it wasn't a red card, all anyone's saying is that it 1, wasn't high and 2, wasn't malicious.
