His main weakness is that we don't get to see enough of him. Would love him to get involved more often because I love his style.

I've taught English as a foreign language before and I think a few on here have too. I can't tell you how incredible and rare it is for his English to be that good that quickly. It's one thing being able to speak it, but the listening comprehension is so impressive. The best student I ever had went from a mid B to low D in 10 months, Bruno's gone from low A (the lowest) to what I'd say is a mid or high C in 2 months, that's so impressive.

He was class I thought. Would have had him on par with Bruno before he decided to be a legend

Playing a different game to the rest of the players out there

Can't believe that. Was more than happy to take a point because of the way the game had gone, with everything seeming to drop for Leicester and it having a really flat, end of season feel. Suddenly Willock presses the on button and Bruno's there to win in. Absolutely class, so funny. Dubravka - 6 Krafth - 7.5 Schar - 6 Burn - 6.5 Targett - 7 Shelvey - 6 Joelinton - 6 Bruno - 8.5 ASM - 6 Wood - 6 Almiron - 6.5

Ginola's vs Man United for me I think. A big part of it was the context. It was obviously the season after we'd lost the title and we hadn't been able to beat them in previous matches we'd completely dominated. Then lost 4-0 in the charity shield after signing Shearer. Peacock's goal was barely over the line, so when Ginola - my favourite player, who himself had struggled with form for about 6 months - smashed that one in past the previously impenetrable Schmeichel it wasn't just a class goal that you could happily watch over and over again, it was a goal that came with a wave of relief and release of frustration for me.

More disgraceful than George W Bush's imo

I've watched a fair few documentaries on Hillsborough, but there were a few parts of that that were really disturbing to read like. Poor fuckers, can't even imagine going through all of that then having people blame you for it.

Got to admit I think Burnley have at times been one of the better of those long ball teams with a bad reputation. There were one or two seasons when they'd just come up that I thought they played decent football whenever I watched them.

What a completely crazy decision to make at this stage.

Ah god yeah, I'm being serious as well! Even that long stretch of frustration between signing Wood and signing Bruno was still loads of fun. Think I became aware of about 50 players more than I was in December.
-
I'm just looking forward to being gutted about missing out on players I wasn't aware of 3 weeks earlier.
-
Bowen surely gets a call up soon
-
Aye, totally agree like, just seems like it's really, really concentrated now. Liverpool Man City and Chelsea are almost shoo ins for the semis at the moment and West Ham beating Lyon 3-0 away seems surreal when I think of Lyon and West Ham teams of the past.
-
The PL has been the dominant league in that respect for about 25 years I think?
-
Crazy how suddenly dominant English sides are in Europe. Wasn't that long ago that half decent European teams would show up some of our best.

I don't think Atletico even played like that anyway tbh, they just missed all of their chances then lost their shit in the last 5 minutes of normal time. Rafa had 11 men behind the ball and completely gave up possession.
-
He lived at the bottom of my street when he was here and used to play football with us sometimes, nice lad.
-
You're talking about the La Liga champions ffs
-
Cannot fucking believe anyone's trying to say Felipe did nothing wrong there. About as blatant as it gets.
-
Atletico are entertaining in the same way that WWF used to be, but there comes a point where I actually just want to watch some good football.
-
I'd find it hard to put anyone in ahead of Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets as the best 3 I've ever seen, collectively or individually.
-
Don't think it's clear cut enough to be able to say definitively who's the greatest or whatever, it's very much pick your favourite and they're both amazing. All I know is that Xavi's my pick of the two and for me he's the best midfielder I've seen in my lifetime. The points he makes are a bit weird though. In terms of consistency, I think I saw Xavi misplace a pass once in a decade. A longer career at the top level doesn't really make any sense - Xavi just started earlier and he's 6 years older than Modric. You could probably say he has more of a range, but they have different strengths and weaknesses.
