  1. I've seen us play pretty bad this season. This is the worst it's been for me, just basics where we're simply not there.
  2. Not a fan of seeing our players getting outmuscled by Mason Mount and fucking Ugarte. Terrible signs all over the place so far tbh.
  3. All the signs are there for how this will go, but thankfully I think Howe can see that.
  4. He is, that's why you put crosses in though, because he's still 4ft tall.
  5. Loads missing, just do a top 100 imo. The ones that come to mind: Schar vs PSG Longstaff's second in the 22/23 LC semi against Southampton. Amazing link up play with Joelinton, Willock, Almiron, Longstaff. Bruno's first goal, the instinctive backheel volley vs Southampton away. Loads of Cole and Beardsley ones from 93 -95, the chipped one-two, the Cole lob, Beardsley being silly vs Villa, Beardsley vs Palace away Etc A few 95/96 team goals Solano vs Birmingham 02/03 away. Brilliant one touch counter attacking team goal. Gordon vs Barcelona should be in these lists soon. More Cisse goals, his first vs Chelsea, his first altogether, vs Swansea, header vs Liverpool. Wilson vs Forest at home. Ben Arfa on his weak foot vs Villa.

  7. Can't put my finger on why, but Semenyo doesn't strike me as a player who'll make the step up.
  8. Get you and your like added Bobby
  9. I'll take your word for it.
  10. Incredible how you still don't understand what it's for.
  11. My goal is to win with never once having the highest score.
  12. It was Man United away last season at around the same time of year when I think we properly turned a corner. It would be brilliant if we could do that again
  13. Reports coming in that Richard Dawkins has recalled every copy of The God Delusion and commented "fair enough"
  14. Agreed. Kane has been an incredible player like, not just in terms of goalscoring either. It's still sort of hard to accept that he didn't turn out to be a donkey, then a one season wonder, but somehow ended up being one of the best strikers we've ever seen.
  15. Shearer was an exciting playing who had it in his locker to score absolute worldies from outside the area. Haaland is much more like Shearer without those, which I'd find boring tbh. Strikers can be good and boring. Inzanghi, Klose etc.
  16. Used to be even worse as well. The amount that they benefitted a couple of years ago from teams failing to score after breaking their high line was bizarre.
  17. He's very good at what he does, it's not really a criticism of him to say he relies on service and is solely a goalscorer. Anyone with him in their FPL team knows that his goalscoring dropped off a bit when De Bruyne dropped off and that he often doesn't score for a couple but will then bag a brace, hattrick or more in one match. In those matches where he or the service to him is nullified he doesn't have that ability to go and do something insane like those other players did.
  18. Mad how much Howe's win% improves when you include the extra 41 cup games he has. Goes up from 48 to over 50%
  19. It was both. Liverpool paid £125m, we got £130m, because Isak didn't get his £5m loyalty bonus.
  20. Yeah that last part is exactly it. If you cut off the supply you can stop Haaland. With those others they'd just go and get the ball and make it happen themselves with something you can't really mitigate for, especially Suarez.
