We’re supposedly muscling in on Gallagher’s move to Atlético, which has seemingly run into trouble regarding some image-rights clause. We’ll see.

They accepted £38m for full England international Conor Gallagher, probably only edged out of their player of the season award by the phenomenal form of Cole Palmer, and a previous player of the season when on loan to ‘Glass Hovel’.

Would be timely for him to get run out against Forest, which will surely be on Wednesday 28th.

Can Pursuement play CB?

Half a dozen games. Though when saying games I mean/am hoping minutes.

Had the same thought. Guessing he must reach an audience where the club want to increase our profile.

Even more impressive that only two players who’ve played in last twenty years and 4, including them, from last thirty years. Top by some distance of that smaller sample. Kane’s 0.61 ratio mighty impressive though.

Clearly tight brief to interviewer in terms of what can be asked.

Munoz from that annoying tiny London club, is my random defender pick. Lots of points from not many games last year. -
Twice in a row would be a big ask, given our relative histories but, for what it is worth, I still think we will.

I’ve gone for that Haalandless forward line. We’ll see! -
I wonder how much not (yet) being able to move on players who are clearly surpass to requirements is hampering us in terms of what we can offer for players we want? There’s been a lot of talk about Miggy, but what about Dubravka, Lewis, Fraser, Hayden off the top of my head. Are there others? Wonder how much it would spending power it would release?
-
He’s one we have watched, evidently rated, for some time. I would be delighted to sign him especially if it enabled the option of another RW/RF/RM star.
-
No definitive press about this, so: a) it is lined up and we need to get Guehi/an affordable option in first; b) it wasn’t a goer for whatever reason; c) it was all a load of bollocks. If, IF, we signed Yilmaz and Guehi then that would be two of my top five (realistic) wish list from the Euros and I’d/we’d all be cock a hoop about our prospects this season. Nobody, not even Man City, would feel confident about playing against a forward line of Gordon, Isak and Yilmaz. We would run most teams absolutely ragged.

Are we complicit in an elaborate ruse to enable them to get a replacement cheaper? (Ok I’m reaching…).

Should have had a bath 😉

There was a similar scene in the new series of the East German assassin show on Netflix, Kleo. Seems a bit niche/unlikely though!

Well, believe it’s Murphy’s shirt at the moment. So it’ll either be Miggy on the bench/competing or a newbie. Elanga/similar might give him tougher competition.
