  1. We would have finished sixth if we had averaged the points per game Howe accumulated in the last 25 games, over the course of the whole season. So we are not far away really.
  2. Wishful thinking acknowledged, but if we were going big on anyone (or two ?) it would be predicable and sensible for them to be the final signings of the window. See what we’ve got left, what we need, let the unrealistic overinflated prices trickle down and keep the ‘we’ve only got so much to spend’ anti-rip-off card visible. Business tekkers!
  3. You’ve quoted a right MoFo there, mofo!

Wait for the team pics next to Dan Burn.
  5. Guess it is understandable that we ingest a bit of the hype around potential signings and mix it in with the hope we (now) have for the progression of our team. Nowt wrong with hoping for the best.
  6. Reminds me of Rafa and Abrahams.
  7. Sorry, didn’t see this. Posted pretty much the same.
  8. You know given the close call he’s had, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he stayed. Or at least him being more likely to choose something that works for him and his family, rather than being driven by trophies, status or money.

Gotta love the concept! Just wish some of the lines weren’t a 1000 miles wide!
  10. Tosin Adarabioyo tall young (Man City developed) centre back from Fulham looking like a front runner Botman replacement. Would Fulham really sell?
  11. Yep, not much in it. But affordable/poor man’s Jesus? Below from International matches (apparently…):
  12. Gabriel ‘Angel of the North’? Due to appear in front of Pope? I apologise, but had to insert this rumour about Gabriel Barbosa. I know nothing about him, other than he already has has a Joelinton/Bruno haircut and the other speculative blurb in the article. https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/newcastle-united-news/west-ham-transfer-news-barbosa-wolves-villa/
  13. Well here’s hoping he eventually does well, after a terrible first game obviously!
  14. Ok, you’re welcome to your opinion. Personally I love the idea of keeping that kind of heritage and continuity. Which fits with the rhetoric trotted out by the club. Not suggesting it is a ‘right’ but if someone wants to buy a season ticket and would like to be sitting where there ancestor/relative has always has, I think it is ‘the right thing’ to facilitate.
  15. It really should be allowed. Don’t take no for an answer.
  16. But other than that, a canny bunch worth going out of your way to have a chat with?
  17. Good luck to the lad. Good to see us shifting unneeded players.
  18. Neither nor Milan can afford/will pay asking price for him. We’ll see.

Happy with this. He’ll do a good job for us.
