So far so good. Doubt we will change anything. Think they might. Not creating clear cut chances.
-
They are up against it, tbf. Can’t stand unforced errors though. Hopefully they’ll find their zone.
-
I think they look fucking terrifying at times. Best team does not always win though.

Well this is frigging late… just lost wordy reply. Shame, it was a good one for a change!

Would defo go for Mount in the summer if Chelsea’s situation worsens. -

Love the class of Bruno. Lovely little touches. It’s his ball and he wants you to know it. -

Setting up to not lose, with hope of nicking a goal. Here’s hoping they wear themselves out on our ‘shield wall’. A long distance screamer, or two, from Bruno or Longstaff or a set-piece header from Wood or Lascelles is what I’m choosing to hope for. Howay the lads! -
Yes ?

Just watched Saturday Night Takeaway and end of show show bit with Sax player in Entertainers home shirt, playing Local Hero had me in tears. It’s fantastic to be in touch with our love for the club again (and all things Geordie, as ever)

I for one find it worrying… . Can’t stop watching ‘it’. Head was gone like… well like after Albert chipping the big Dane. -
Frigging tragic more like.

Amazing toe dexterity though… .

Good memory! 25 years ago (surprised it’s lasted that long—though not much footfall of late). Wonder if a young Adam J was there getting tips?

I’ve only just seen ‘it’… oh to have been in that away end! If ever there was a suitable reward for our long suffering (and loonnnggg travelling) exceptional away support, then 3 points achieved by ‘it’ is surely, well, it ?♂️ (So pleased for Wood as well— shame Murphy didn’t hit him with the cross). -
Long may it continue.

I'd love to see the stats (shots particularly) for the 0-1 loss vs. the 5-0 win the season after. I was at both and, perhaps due to acquired permanent-embitterment, sense of injustice, and plain old dummy-spitting tantrum-itis I have suffered since then, I feel like the 0-1 was a more one-sided game. Probably wasn't, but fucking hell man Les!!

If Leeds go down, think we might have a chance of Kalvin Phillips. The prospect of him alongside Bruno is really exciting. The stability they could bring would offer a great foundation for whoever is in front of them. Thinking while writing this, I have actually seen relatively little of both of them, but they would nevertheless be my 'Penis' Wise stylee preference.

Can’t help thinking it would shift from great to freakishly good form to win this, or even go 9 games unbeaten. That said, one game at a time. With our confidence and the fact we look like a proper team again, who knows! Personally, I would defo shake hands on a draw before kick-off. -

Love the redemption arc concept! ? Trying to think of players who would have had the steepest! -

Think it’ll probably be same staring 11. Dependent on fitness. Don’t think Murphy will start if ASM deemed fully fit. Shelvey looked like he might have a bit of a knock, though will be very reluctant, I imagine, to say anything that means he might not start (might be worried he’ll struggle to get back in). I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Krafth (though not seen live/had overview of positional sense etc.). I think our manager likes to reward effort and knows how a run in the side, and the knowledge that someone (the second most important someone) believes in you, can improve self-belief (the most important someone) and lead to even better performances. So tactical change, or glaring errors, aside I suspect Eddie H will always be likely to stick, rather than twist. -
Pisses me off that people think this is a Sunderland phrase. Even Jimmy Carter knew better... .
