  1. Getting their money’s worth at that end of the ground!
  2. Flamengo! Yo!!, they will let him go (Let him go!) Flamengo! Say Yo! We will let him go! … Eddie Howe has Santiago Muñez‘s number put aside for me, for me, For meee!!!!
  3. Thought that was the shittest highlights reel EVER! He’s only good at jogging; then dawned on me it was the last few seconds
  4. Alreet Dennis ? Sooo, who do we want as a suitable CW replacement? Given our new found Mounties stylee of ‘always getting our man’ (ok, aspirational rather than strictly factual) are we opting for Victor Osimhen or Gonçalo Ramos? Pssst! Ekitike just scored for PSG against Ronaldo Rovers. Looked quite slow allegedly (latter to be confirmed in Feb).
  5. Similar, the patter stunk then up pops the sweet smell of a forthcoming rose!
  6. Kin hell, I wish I had your NUFC memories instead of mine.
  7. Given the absence of options beyond Isak and Wilson, their recent injury issues, the importance of Champions League football, and the prospect of a Wembley final/cup win, I don’t see any scenario where we shove someone out the door (who doesn’t want to go) without having a better option lined up. Just doesn’t (1) make sense (2) fit with the proactive (and careful) approach taken by the new leadership.
  8. Gameweek 21 Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea Bournemouth 1-2 Forest Leicester 1-3 Brighton Southampton 1-1 Villa West Ham 2-0 Everton Palace 0-2 Newcastle Leeds 2-2 Brentford Man City 3-1 Wolves Arsenal 1-1 Man United Fulham 1-1 Spurs
  9. Anyone else excited? There’s no way we let Wood go without a striker in the pipeline. ? We’re going to win… ? nah, can’t bring myself to type it. But ?… and now ‘I might just’ believe it… ? ?
  10. https://www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/12790419/chris-wood-nottingham-forest-agree-deal-with-newcastle-to-sign-striker-on-an-initial-loan-deal Nice! Good for both (all!— us as well, hopefully) parties. Thanks for everything CW. Farewell young man ?
  11. And that has seriously backfired on City—even though they have bought in, in my opinion, better replacements.
  12. Feel like the gods of football owe us thee points here. That said, we struggled to break them down/ok to score (ish) at home fixture. Last night was a good result for them against an inform Manure. On the stats they had a much better second half (possession and chances wise). Fancy us to get a goal early doors and a nice 1-0 HT, 2-0 FT solid and organised performance.
  13. Starting to smell nice, whatever it is! Off to search for some wild ‘new blood’ speculation and casually contemplate taking over world football.
  14. Yep, was at both those FA Cup semis (Sheff Utd and Spurs) at Old Trafford. Magnificent feelings (whole stand bouncing at one of them!). And was at the next one, following year?, at Wembley (only time I have seen us score there). Less good feels, pisser of a journey back.
  15. Drove through village of West Linton on way to Edinburgh, so wish I’d had a spray can…
  16. Totally get it, can’t describe/imagine how much emotion would wash over me if we won the league cup. That said, the not winning anything since 1969 always jars as the 1992-3, 2009-10, and 2016-17 ‘trophy wins’ felt more than just promotion …
  17. 20-20 hindsight. Not really a bad call without that. You are going to be reliant on the player, unless you’ve seen a close up of how far his ankle twisted, and maybe even then the best judge is the injured party.
  18. Kin hell! You could do a philosophy PhD with that beauty! I mean, obvs not the person who said it!
  19. I’d like to know his name. I was at the game (only a kid at the time) and a notorious (and old enough to know better) man from Felling got walked around the side of the pitch, by St John’s, feigning (I have always thought) injury sometime before it happened. Always assumed it was him, though never had it confirmed.
  20. Now we know he’s just sensationally sensual!
