Schar on my bench… I hate this game.

We’re going (should really be ‘gonna’ given where this post is going…) to sashay around their close pressing and shimmy around into the wide open green spaces. -

I’m in pre-match (deluded) optimism mode! Did we beat them preseason? Can’t recall and .com are down, but we beat them this season, and their seeking revenge for that will be outweighed by our seeking revenge for what happened there last season. HTL ( no’wubble you’!) -
Good words. It’s all all the blend @timeEd32 and he’s been an important ingredient in some of our best performances.

Really enjoyed that. I know he gets pelters, but I’m warming to Sir Les’s young cousin. He’s definitely got a soft spot for us now.

Too many people using stats the way a drunk uses a lamppost, for support instead of illumination.

I just nearly spat my coffee out when I sat down to Sky Sports News and they stopped blasting on about Miggy going and handed over (to that one who looks like the epitome of a cockney barrow boy) to discuss positive news of a midfield signing… Yep. Young Lewis. Like a new… .

Chuffed for the lad. He’s relentless. Quick as a whip. Intelligent. A good communicator. Passionate, a grafter and fully engaged to the cause. Think he might just be becoming my favourite player.

Hope he got good advice. I’m sure what he was offered would have been a massive jump from what he has been on, easy to have your head turned by that. As I would also guess that his new deal is mikes away from Longstaff or Joelinton. Possibly similar to Anderson?

I do like that they have one of a proud Northumbrian, with 261 appearances for his beloved Newcastle United, topped off with a solid performance in a third in five years FA Cup win. What a Geordie hero! Magnanimous them Makems. Makes me proud to be ‘North Eastern’.
