Yep time to move on with this one but I suspect the club haven’t been in that much contact, it’s more us who wanted this one and journalists putting 2+2 together and coming up with 73 as we were previously interested. I believe the price is closer to 20m or just under. He’s definitely better than Dubs, not in the top keepers in the world but we’re also not quite there yet. He’s a good fit for where we are now, Dubs needs real competition for that place, and if he loses it and can’t regain it, well that will settle the argument of who is better surely?

Asslani fits the profile of player we’re going for. Young, potential to get much better while also still being good enough for the here and now. Not the tallest, only 5’10. But that shouldn’t matter if he’s good enough.
