Assuming FIFA expand the tournament to 64 teams, expect it'd become unusual not to qualify.

Yeutembip started for England U16 in a 1-1 draw against USA in Florida this evening. I think he might actually have been Captain. Wasn't the only Newcastle player either. Jayden Kouossu scored the goal for England on his youth international debut.

Feels like people have been saying that all season and yet there Spurs are in the relegation zone

The group stage was previously capable of actually being interesting. Germany failed to get out of the last two. Spain, France and Portugal have all been eliminated at that stage recently. Costa Rica and Uruguay finished above Italy and England in 2014. Even Argentina failed in 2002. Doubt you'll get the same jeopardy for stronger nations with a potential group of death anymore in a bloated 64 team tournament. It'll be more predictable and essentially an extension of qualifying I'd expect. Bit like the Champions League is now where you'll be waiting for the knockout round to start for the tournament to really get interesting imo.

At least the potential play-off would be a home game.

Bit over 10 thousand.

Palace look decent.

Apparently Charlie Robinson scored again today! Not sure he wasn't Captain actually.

Pep might be leaving anyway.

So that's why Zirkzee is starting up front.

Hall has spoken about missing the Cup final:
-
Has withdrawn from England U21 squad.
-
He's been selected this month.

I wonder how long it'll be before a non European/South American team wins the (Men's) World Cup.

Which was shared until 1983. Liverpool one of the main clubs that ended it.

A lot of fans of clubs not in UEFA competition seem to resent the new format of League Cup.

Just reading an article on the BBC, when Langley refers to investment on the grass pitch and changing rooms at Gateshead, did Newcastle pay for that?
-
Hall definitely as there aren't many talented English left backs around.
-
Levy was also part of the Super League concept, albeit a minor part apparently.

How does this benefit Newcastle?
-
Didn't they also help out Borussia Dortmund in the past?
-
He got player of the match award.
-
Flog them in this Club World Cup thing you mean? I thought Miley could do with actually playing some games.
-
Anyone know why he's withdrawn from representing England at the UEFA Under-19 tournament next month? Injury or did Newcastle not want him to participate?

According to Luke Edwards.
