  1. Oh dear here we go Romano had that nailed on.
  2. You don’t take rejects from your rivals and boost their transfer kitty at the same time.
  3. Remember that day well even the East Stand concourse was bouncing all through half time to the Andy Cole song. That’s what proper support is not this flag waving karaoke pre and post match with the tannoy drowning out the crowd.
  4. Folk don’t even seem to have picked up on the most disturbing part of Edwards article. I’d be amazed if anything he says is accurate though, he called Chris Wood but apart from that i struggle to recall anything he’s been on the money with. ‘Newcastle have looked into signing Gallagher, who is a long-term target of head of recruitment Steve Nickson, in each of the past two summer windows. They have also expressed an interest in Manchester United’s Scott McTominay, after learning the player is worried about a lack of game time under Erik ten Hag. The Scotland international is widely liked by Newcastle’s management team and the North East club will bid if they are offered any encouragement from Old Trafford to do so. Telegraph Sportunderstands McTominay is understood to be open to moving to St James’ Park’.
  5. Fucking hell some folk are never happy and want something to moan about. Rewind a year and remember where we we’re you miserable cunts. The lads stats also back up he’s playing very well, some folk just need a boo boy fucking pathetic.
  6. Nickson wanted him when he went to Brighton but we had fat Mike at the time.
  7. That full NW corner level 4 and level 7 all standing would be something special if we could fill it with like minded folk. You would think the atmosphere would cascade down from the old curva nord and definitely would help being next to away fans.
  8. If the club introduce a safe standing area any one choosing to remain there wouldn’t have any choice but to accept they’ll be standing every match. The key is for the club to try and get it in the right place and the right people in it. I would certainly give season ticket holders who want the opportunity to sing first chance of filling it, the last thing you want is the places being sold unwittingly to people in the member/general sale and not being up for standing/singing.
  9. Massively impressive result considering we lost our best player at half time and these were bang in form coming into it.
  10. Hopefully we get large swathes of safe standing next season and the club give people the chance to move. The atmosphere is shit like has been for ages, no amount of flag waving pre and post match mask it.
  11. I’d be surprised if talk of the Serb is anything more than agent talk. Still think we’ll end up with Kone, Sangare or the young Thuram.
  12. Type of game and opposition that used to always cause us problems. It’ll be a bit like after the Lord Mayor’s show today and 2pm kick off won’t help atmosphere. Big test against in form opposition, be very impressed if we grind out a win today
  13. God hope not nobody can face Murphy starting again after last Saturday.
  14. Aye can come off the bench for last 10 mins for Kavarodona next season.
  15. Never seen him play but has always been linked with the top clubs. Not sure being athletic appears to be the top priority if we’re being linked with Maddison, Neves and this guy. ‘Milinkovic-Savic is a box-to-box midfielder and is at his best when he gets forward. He can create and score goals. He registered 11 goals and 11 assists last season in 37 appearances in the Serie A season which is very respectable’.
  16. They’re fucking soft as shite always have been, the casualties were rated by nobody when hooliganism was in its hey day.
  17. Wolves will be a real test aswell they’ve picked up well under this new manager and we’re robbed against the scousers. In saying that if they won their replay with scousers their 4th round tie would be nicely slap bang between the 2 legs. That might make them more favourable opponents than Forrest.
  18. City have let some good young players slip through their academy, obviously a lot don’t see a pathway to the first team and must want out.
  19. To be honest we used to do it anyway for all the Wembley trips, just think in the days of social media they tended to big it up. For all our Wembley trips we took over Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. I do think though with not having been for so long this would be off the scale and every man and his dog would be down. We still gave great vocal support though especially against Arsenal and Chelsea I thought.
  20. Aye but loads of articles that’s he’s stood down as sporting director today. Might just be window dressing no idea, but their pursuit of Fernandez hasn’t been a good look.
  21. Boehly has stood down today as their director of football and handed the reigns to Winstanley and Vivell from Red Bull. Think Winstanley played a big part in Brightons recruitment mind, for all we’re happy to have Ashton this bloke cleared played a big part. ‘Chelsea is pleased to announce that Paul Winstanley has been appointed to the role of Director of Global Talent and Transfers. Winstanley arrives at Stamford Bridge after eight years with Brighton & Hove Albion, initially as talent identification manager and then as head of recruitment’.
  22. Of all the players being linked so far think Mudryk is the only one who’d I be really envious of going to Arsenal. Clearly Enzo would have been a real coup but looks like that’s dead until the summer. It used to be said that the well ran clubs stayed well clear of January, so whilst I’d love a splash I can’t say im to concerned as things stand. Think we’ve got our targets and unless they become available or there’s an injury crisis we could be quiet this month.
