  1. Wallsendmag will be fuming even more since he insists Leeds have never been a big club. They aren't. s*** history, s*** crowds historically, and a shithole of a stadium! Last 2 are very accurate, they’ve never averaged over 40k in their history. Danny Mills claimed recently they’d get 50k in league one, very overrated and not in our league support wise. Back when Leeds were a big side, not many sides were getting more than 40k average crowds. They've been out of the top flight for 16 years. C’mon Elland Road held 40k when they were riding high and in champions league. I remember year after they won league, they played Norwich at home and there were rows of empty blue seats in their brand new east stand. They’re up there with the best away support wise, but Leeds is not a football city on par with Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle.

  3. As if PIF are going to give info to a pro beIN/Qatar reporter As if you would know they wouldn’t Doesn't take much brain cells to work out why they wouldn't mind. You keep believing your new 'in the know' hero It doesn’t take many brain cells to believe a journalist who works in the Middle East for various companies may have some contacts. But hey you just keep on believing everything’s 100% positive in your own deluded little world Coming from someone who up to a week ago was more vocal than anyone and posting several times every day about it's happening I still believe it’ll happen, however I’m not blinded to other opinions like your good self. No you're just blinded by a person who is a massively pro beIN/Qatar reporter, spouting their side of things and then conveniently not answering (when asked several times) reply's from people asking him to explain how the broadcast ban by the Saudis (which he says is a big problem with the takeover) is anyway part of the O&D test. You then quote he is getting it from both sides and then are unable to comprehend that won't be the case as there is no way whatsoever PIF would divulge information to a former beIN employee (and as mentioned above pro beIN/Qatar reporter), which could well effect the takeover. Your other opinion is my other propaganda. Unfortunately you come across as a petulant child who just puts his fingers in his ears when it’s someone’s opinion you don’t want to believe. I’ve always cautioned Jacobs is an ex employee of bein, however he offers some decent and balanced views on the matter. You claim to know for certain he wouldn’t have sources within PIF, however sources from PIF has been a phrase regularly used during this process. So to summarise you come across as a know it all, who clearly knows f*** all. Yet he can't or won't answer simple questions when asked - Bullshit You sound a little unhinged, I would take a break from the takeover if I was you

  8. His info is clearly not from PL he’s worked in Middle East for years, he mentions contacts in PIF and Bein.
  9. Final tweet confirms still questions last week, which is consistent with Douglas. Seems like this Al Qasabi character could be central to questions.

  11. At the end of the day KSA banning beIN will not be the reason that the takeover is knocked back as it's not part of the remit for the O&D test. I agree it’s not but it clearly hasn’t helped. We seemed to have momentum when they were bringing in new piracy laws, and it appears to have been lost since decision to ban Bein.
  12. Does anyone think yesterday was a rather bizarre day ? Yes we’ve had some shit days during this, however every journo just latched on to the next. First we had the baldy cockney cnut telling us exclusivity was over and Mauriss was in talks. Then we had Bird saying it’s stalled and the PL were standing by Bein. Quickly followed by Jacobs and Keys painting a bleak picture, and the Saudis decision to ban bein as the final nail. Three of the said journalists clearly have an agenda against this takeover and though Jacobs seems very clued up, there’s no doubting some of his info is coming from Bein. So as Caulkin has said today both sides are clearly contradicting each other, the buyers maintain it will happen and bein now seem confident it’ll be rejected. I’m really unsure where I’m at with this at minute, I’m leaning towards yesterday being Qatari spin and edwards having shit sources as proved throughout this. I think I’m still in but my main fear is the PL play the ultimate cnuts trick here and refuse to make decision. Can they do that who fucking knows if where all honest, but I would hope if they try this either Ashley or PIF take legal action, as surely this would be deemed a restraint of trade and unreasonable. Just thinking aloud as this has now got my head fucked.
  13. If this gets rejected I’m out for good, it’ll finally prove where 2nd class citizens as far as PL are concerned, and I want no part. I’ll also hope the Saudis reinstate BeoutQ with immediate effect, the premier league lose millions on tv deals, and bein go f***ing bust.
  14. Boy do we need some positive Saudi spin on this today. I’m still not out yet, the Qatari’s clearly have some info that makes them confident and yesterday’s headlines reflect what they’ve leaked out. Whilst the PL may be stalling on making a decision and be concerned with decision to ban bein, I’m still not convinced their going to outright reject this. Think we’ll see a lot more spinning before end of this week.
  15. Unfortunately this, all parties especially the Saudis will want this swept away. Bein have definitely received some encouraging noises from the PL here, and it does feel as though the decision to ban them has not gone down well.
  16. Jacobs always seems pretty clued up but I’m always wary due to bein connection. Must admit his tweet about 100 mp’s wanting to block the deal has me worried slightly. I’m unsure how he would have that information though and seems a bit far fetched. Confidence has certainly been knocked today, however I still don’t think we can be sure which way this heading just yet.
  17. If the Saudis haven’t given the PL what they want then just reject it you spineless b******s. There’s the hitch though does Masters dare reject it, I’m not convinced he does and that’s why I’ve still got hope.
  18. Me neither the last person to raise this was also a certain baldy cockney cnut, that time it was also rubbished so I’ve got my doubts.
  19. Because it would be easier to just leave it in limbo, and avoid the fall out of publicly rejecting them. There’s no doubt it would be the most cowardly decision by Masters and make a mockery of the test. Also maybe there hoping the Mauriss bid is genuine and it’s a way out for them. That cant be right - PL stonewalll PIF with an answer of yes or no and proceed to progress a rival bid. Hmmmm, I see no issues here. Who knows what the fuckers are upto, but there is certainly journalists up here who would love nothing more than seeing this bid fail. It’s all starting to leave a very bad taste in the mouth, and that feeling that where being shafted again.

  21. Isn't there some link with ClearTV and the World Cup in Qatar? It's been mentioned at some stage, I'm sure. Yeah think they’re involved with World Cup sponsorship of some sorts. I’m currently taking this with a pinch of salt, I think Luke Edwards is being played here and he’s to fucking thick to realise.
  22. Very good point, the PL by making this such a lengthy and public test run the risk of putting off a lot of potential investors. But playing devils advocate the top 6 clubs will be very aware there’s few people who could afford a billion plus to buy a club. One of the few groups they would have ear marked able to do this would be PIF, therefore if they fail the test they’re still technically in the market. Who’s to say a face saving operation doesn’t happen, and PIF are told wait until bein contract ends, then you can come and buy one of our clubs when all this dies down. One thing I’m very sure of here is that this test has gone beyond its remit, the PL are trying to feather their own nest with this deal, and I suspect they feel as though with NUFC they can get away with it. Would they be using the sale of Man U for example to solve piracy.
