Great sight remember being on the east stand benches that day. Going to the match used to be an experience and even though we we’re shite, couldn’t wait for match days. -

Edwards can’t fucking help himself. Of course no one could rule it out as we all know Ashley values a dog shit obedient clown as manager, however why write an article on what could happen on this subject. A lot could fucking happen but you pick the one negative subject guaranteed to rile supporters. If it’s not bullshit regarding the takeover it’s shite about his mate.
-
Seen this earlier sad news. In the event of takeover and Rafa coming back, think him and Owen Brown would have been prominent at club.

Does this bloke ever stop making shit up.

Put you’re fishing rod away RS. I don’t even think you believe that yourself

Seems like everyone’s sending an Easter message to say we’re still fighting for this. Keith is on a certain podcast tonight for anyone interested in listening.

Hmmm......let’s not paint half a picture, even though I think Jacobs does cover every possible scenario imaginable.

There you go Candi as if by magic.

“Bruce has thought long and hard about his position since the Brighton defeat but is adamant he will not walk away from the fight and does not feel there is anyone who can replace him who would do a better job in the current circumstances”. The best part about this is that he will truly believe the circumstances are not of his own making, and are down to outside forces such as injuries, covid and the mole.
-
Keith’s case is parked behind clubs nothing he can do at this point, apart from hope and pray like the rest of us.

I think the PL are happy with him clearly, which by default obviously makes us nervous. We just have to trust in the process at this stage, I can’t see club delaying this any further with another appeal.
-
I think there’s a couple of very good reasons they wanted him removed. He played a part in amending the o&d test, basically the stage after the reg our arbitration is being decided on. He’s also been requested to act on behalf of bird and bird and PL in numerous other cases. I get there’s a limited number of QC’s, but he does seem to be getting a fair amount of business acting on their behalf. The part which I didn’t like is where he entered into communication with bird and bird on the matter of his impartiality, even bird and bird stated they we’re uncomfortable with this and informed Denton’s. We just have to hope the publicity shined on him ensures his impartiality. However, I can see entirely where the club we’re coming from him in wanting him removed.

Simple as this really.

Sounds a riveting watch. If access is based on history and past performances, I think competitive football as we currently know it is over.

What I’m saying is I believe Ashley will be prepared to accept a structured deal, which will certainly not be far off the agreed price now, after payments on promotion etc are factored in.
-
That’s a fair point but assumes Ashley would then be happy with Jones and maybe Dawson in charge for rest of the season. That ultimately is why I believe he’s sticking with Bruce, I don’t think he wants to pay for a replacement team to come in, and thinks Bruce is better option than the previous 2 mentioned. I must add I would be happy with Jones and Dawson at this point.
-
Yes but the point of you’re argument is why would Ashley not just pay Bruce off now, given PIF will have to pick this up anyway. However, you’re assuming Ashley is happy to take this hit on a promise it goes through, PIF could well be happy at this point to say get rid of him now and should it go through we’ll add 4 million on to purchase price to cover the loan. I just don’t think Ashley at this point is prepared to do this, he’s financially astute and will also be planning on deal not going through, relegation and how much it could potentially cost him. I believe it will go through yes, based on our legal team and the arguments they will present.
-
I don’t think he’s going to offer a long term contract to anyone, because as I stated I believe it would involve him having to loan the club further money, therefore affecting purchase price. Why would PIF agree to pay Bruce off at this point when arbitration is 50/50 and could go either way ?
