  1. Nee idea apart from he’s always looked shite whenever I’ve seen him play.
  2. Feel sorry for lads who have been used to going every week, it’s certainly a worry in terms of atmosphere next season, if league games turn into cup home game atmospheres where truly fucked. There’s no easy answer though and apart from not giving folk a choice of seats most people seemed happy with the fairness of a ballot system. The old system was a form of ballot with a randomly allocated queue slot. The only difference is people could try and manipulate the system with multiple devices and had more of a sense of influencing their chances. The only thing I think the club could have done in hindsight was implement a tiered membership perhaps, with members from last year and previous years given a gold membership and new members silver and so on. Clearly that process isn’t going to be appealing when trying to flog new memberships though, but what they’re maybe missing is that unlimited membership with no chance of getting a ticket might be even less appealing in the long term.
  3. He claims one can also play DM and apparently Sky linked us with Alvarez this morning.
  4. Would have been 10/10 if we’d got McTominay over the line.
  5. Sounds like an exciting talent.
  6. Some of the Ajax gear is great and the quality is on a different level to Castore.
  7. No chance the club will enter into a deal where we get templates, this isn’t Mike Ashley’s NUFC anymore.
  8. Happy with adidas good quality and we’ll not be getting templates as a 3rd rate club.
  9. Young defender like Antonio Silva, Todibo, Hincapie or Scalvini next is my guess.
  10. Nee way has he got a team.
  11. That’s the spirit Mark.
  12. 8 million to Southampton and 32 to Chelsea more like it.
  13. Jesus christ hope his knee is fixed at that price, markets gone fucking crazy.
  14. Definitely some steep increases in match day ticket prices from last season, probably comparable to other top 6 clubs but could maybe have been done more gradually in the current economic climate. From .com And while much furore was generated by the lack of choice over tickets, the increased prices charged for seeing Aston Villa at SJP are worthy of note: Season 2022/23: Family £25 Cat 3 £35 Cat 2 £35 Cat 1 £tbc Platinum £58 Season 2023/24: Family £31 Cat 3 £44 Cat 2 £44 Cat 1 £56 Platinum £74
  15. It’s almost as if they planned it this way.
  16. Would hope where in the mix here.
  17. Interesting to see how quickly they were able to implement a change to the ballot system overnight. Almost as if they expected a bad reaction to the whole thing, but had a remedy on standby waiting to go ? I’m no IT whizz but how likely is it that they could implement a change that quickly and introduce an option to select price categories almost immediately ?
  18. The only people who look daft after this fiasco are the twats on Twitter who sharply turned on the club in a very aggressive way, instead of raising concerns in a civil manner. Some fucking cunts in our support who deserve the previous regime being re- instated.
  19. ToonDawg absolutely nails it in this exchange with Burnsie. The biggest gripe with club pre takeover was that they didn’t listen, they’ve made a cock up here undoubtedly, let’s hope they put it right which I’m confident they will.
  20. Nobody ever wants the bad things just the good. The authorities would have us believe FFP is there to protect clubs and fans, in a strange way in our quest to compete its fucking the fans over, as this is clearly driven by New Execs like Eales being tasked with increasing revenue streams.
