If the club go with Leazes Park they need a clear plan and determination to see it through unlike John Hall.

It’s still very unclear what we’ll get in March, I would imagine we’ll get a very good mock up of what a redevelopment of SJP will look like, but when it comes to a new stadium i’m unsure. Are we going to see the 2 options and then a period of consultation, if we see a mock up of the new stadium on a preferred site, it would suggest key stakeholders have been consulted on the said site surely ? Be interesting to see what reactions are to both plans if they are presented side by side.

Think Solis becoming officially a board member is significant, undoubtedly already a major influence as PIF’s head of European investment, but think this could signal they’re becoming more hands on with big decisions looming. Should hopefully streamline decision making process and signs they’re starting to take the show over after PCP departure. Hopefully big few months ahead with stadium and sponsorships incoming.

It would be fucking cold in winter but look great from the train arriving in town from Laandan. No doubt it’s bleak down that way especially in winter, however it could also transform and grow that part of the City. I would prefer Leazes Park but if that’s not a goer I think we should seriously consider it as an option.
