  1. He implied it lots of articles whilst the takeover was in limbo.
  2. Very true, also instead of building an arena like Sir John wanted, the current SJP could become an extended regenerated Leazes Park. Leazes Terrace would have views over the new park and we could have a Wembley Way going through it to the new stadium, the current land at St James metro could house a new fanzone and huge club shop. This sort of regeneration would be a great project for PIF and give the city centre a new bigger park right on its door step. Change can sometimes be good if St James is deemed not feasible for redevelopment.
  3. Aye, stick it on the links the Briardene can become the new Strawberry. After all North Tyneside is home to the hardest and most fervent mags about. Just ask the mackems when they got chased into the Tyne by North Shields finest. North Tyneside council loves selling off the green belt so planning permission won’t be a problem.
  4. Who’s going to need natural light when the students are turfed out and its the new club museum.
  5. Staveley has made it her mission to humiliate the baldy cunt ever since he called her a tyre kicker.
  6. They never lose a fight and all mags are soft as shite, been that way for years. Surprised anyone wears black and white in the North East it’s clearly not safe with these hard cunts cleansing the streets of gravy stained mags.
  7. Brilliant if the club sign somebody else this week, he’s getting slaughtered, I’m convinced the club are just playing with him.
  8. Hey if they can do it fair enough, the East Stand just looks so dated to me and not in keeping with a world class stadium. I’ve got no doubt they’ll be able to redevelop the Gallowgate in some way, but everything I read about Leazes Terrace just seems to make it a no go with the East Stand. The buildings I presume backing onto boot boy alley would surely at the very least have to be demolished, how easy will it be to purchase these and then demolish them ? Ive got no doubt moving to Leazes Park would have the nimbys out in force, and that would probably be called in by govt, but I’ve got a feeling when the numbers are crunched it might be the route they go down.
  9. Whisper it on here but I think this is what will happen. I just don’t see the East Stand redevelopment being viable in the end and we’ll be left with no other option.
  10. The Tyneside coast line is far superior but they cling to the fact it’s not in the City boundaries, what they forget is Tyneside is one big conurbation. Nobody from Tyneside would ever feel the need to venture to that shit hole for anything.
  11. Hughes, should never have lost that after being 1 nil up from 1st leg, the beginning of our fall from grace.
  12. We need an attacking midfielder, LB and CB minimum to get compete on all fronts next season. By signing a LB you have the option of Dan Burn as cover at CB, but think we’re crying out for a pacy CB like Tobido alongside Botman. We need to rotate Wilson and Isak as our only 2 main strikers, and very sparingly consider playing them together, that’s why another attacking midfielder is vital. Evan Ferguson if he has another good season should be a major target in 2024.
  13. I think exactly this and if we can’t develop the East Stand, I think that’s fair enough.
  14. He’s shite that’s why, might be versatile but bang average at that price.
  15. Makes perfect sense to go for planning permission on the East Stand first. The Gallowgate may be more complex, but I think they know that can be done. One of the biggest barriers to remaining is the state of the East Stand. PIF will want a world class stadium, you can develop the Gallowgate all day long, but if left with the East Stand in its current guise, it’s just not compatible with their aims going forward. Another reason for developing the east stand is that its prime for executive boxes, which will massively increase commercial revenue. If they can’t do what they want with the East Stand it’ll force a huge re-think, they want everything best in class, that doesn’t include a run down East Stand. Very clever and calculated going for planning permission their first in my opinion.
  16. Not what most expected when it came to extending SJP. Be interesting to see the next move if it’s a non starter.
  17. Gary Neville making a cunt of himself again calling for a ban on transfers to Saudi Arabia. Stick to matters on the pitch you thick Manc cunt.
  18. Staveley paying the cunt back for calling her a tyre kicker, she might have a pleasant nature, but women never forget. Would have just banned the cunt myself, but I’d like to think she’s playing with the cunt and feeding him duff information for shits and giggles.
  19. Good article on the BBC website today about him, from reading that you can sort of understand why Howe maybe wants him, almost had me sold then came to my fucking senses. West Ham all day long with a 100 million burning a hole in their pocket. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65969204
  20. I do like how he subtly mentions after they passed on Botman.
  21. Think they’d probably be able to flog 50 to 60k season tickets this summer if we had the capacity.
  22. I would imagine it has, though in comparison to other hospitality it probably seems cheap at the price now.
  23. Did they offer you a season ticket in the Barracks and if so what was the price for a season in there ?
  24. He roams around the pitch like a reet ponce, said everything when Smith dropped him against us, wouldn’t want this lad in the trenches when the going gets tough. Intensity is the buzz word at the club, he’d be injured half the season apart from the CL games when he’d want to play.
  25. They want to turn NUFC into a 4 billion football club, that’s their motivation along with the exposure owning a top PL club brings. I’ve got no doubt if it wasn’t for FFP we’d have been treated to huge signings, they might be frustrated with FFP but I think they’re in it for the long term and happy to grow the club. They’ll get their World Cup exposure through the big names and that won’t be with us, but I think they’ve realised that and investing in sport in their homeland was always part of PIF’s vision 2030. I also think the way they’ve ran us so far has gained them huge admiration in the football world begrudgingly, they’ve been shrewd and not made a wrong step so far, long may it continue.
