  1. Real potential for Leazes level 7 actually thought there was decent noise from there at times on Tuesday. Loads were up for it on Tuesday they just need to be in the same area to really keep it going, hopefully encourage a better songbook to as it’s fucking shite at the minute.
  2. Says it all AC/DC was fucking class with all the scarves going, but that’s where the manufactured atmosphere should have ended. Just think even if he’d held off the tunes for 5 minutes it would have been far more emotional at the end. It’s almost as if they’re afraid to have no noise and must fill the void. Real danger that it’s becoming far to manufactured and we’re looking a right plastic fanbase.
  3. Covent Garden/West End pubs then everyone descended on Trafalgar. We took over all the Wembley pubs in previous visits, however this year we’ll be allocated certain ones based on which side of stadium where put. Drinking on Wembley Way has been clamped down on so won’t also be like previous visits. Baker Street will be rammed with Newcastle as a good stop off on way to Wembley.
  4. Seems like the PA announcer pissed off plenty on Tuesday night. To give him a little bit of credit he seems in touch with local links such as AC/DC before kick off etc, however the post match was fucking ridiculous and someone needs to have a word with him.
  5. Anyone bit the bullet and purchased any tickets on the secondary market yet, tickets for our end are priced higher than the mancs currently which shows the level of demand already.
  6. It’ll be a fucking great weekend with thousands down there, wouldn’t miss it for anything.
  7. Def the globe that’s normally their bar and don’t think they liked us turning up en masse.
  8. Down London all weekend ticket or no ticket, let the invasion commence.
  9. The fucker ruined the post game as I knew he fucking would. Got to say I did enjoy the AC/DC and scarves just before kick off though. You’re spot on though the home song book is dreadful, where crying out for a singing end.
  10. Man U 96 the place was full and rocking a good half hour before kick off. Mind a bit like the team we shot our load in the first half and think everyone was fucked by half time.
  11. When I say weaker mind I mean purely in terms of numbers in certain areas, certainly not sad to see Wood or Shelvey depart. I think Gordon and even Ashby will increase the overall quality of the squad.
  12. If it’s not raucous tomorrow night I don’t know why people even bother going, it’s nights like this we’ve all waited years for.
  13. We’re weaker up front and in midfield, however full backs and wide area strengthened so status quo for me.
  14. Without wanting to sound like the grim reaper it only takes a daft red card and the match is turned on it’s head. This is my main fear there seemed to be quite a bit of needle at the end of the 1st leg. Still think we’ll go through but I’ll be amazed if it’s a formality, they’re also 1 game from Wembley and will throw the kitchen sink at it which makes them dangerous.
  15. Making Abramovich look a bit tight with his money now these yanks.
  16. Sander Berge never seemed right to me considering where we’re heading. Not fussed waiting till the summer if it means we get a top drawer midfielder.
  17. Mudryk, Badiashile, the young Lyon right back and Fernandez, got to be the best recruitment on paper in 1 window ever. Think Potter will mould them into a major force next season.
  18. Nervous for this don’t think it’s going to be straight forward, think we’ve got enough fire power to get it done in the end though.
  19. These cunts not returned the tickets they haven’t sold, fucking disgrace if there’s a couple of blocks empty tomorrow.
  20. Just fucking gazump Chelsea for Enzo fuck taking their cast offs.
  21. Praise the Lord no more Hollywood balls coughing up possession and the defence being hopelessly exposed because he can’t run.
  22. Certainly the most interesting part of the article - ‘To spend more, Newcastle will have to earn more – and to earn more they will have to pass the Premier League’s new regulations on related-party transactions, introduced in haste when the PIF took over. Barely a commercial deal of any note has been signed so far. The recent deal with Saudi Airlineswas just to run the season – a short-term “official tour airline partner” – and much hangs on the new shirt sponsor to replace online bookmakers Fun88 in the summer. It will be worth around £20 million a season, a long way off, for instance, the equivalent £47 million a year deal commanded by Manchester United in their doomed partnership with the German software company Team Viewer. Yet for Newcastle it will also be a case of who they can attract and what that says about the club, its owners and whether the market cares about all that comes with Saudi. 'Anything feels possible between squabbling siblings' Remarkably, one of the interested parties is Qatar Airways, who are looking for a Premier League shirt deal. After all the Gulf antagonism, the blockade, the beIN signal pirating, the public rapprochements and the private fallouts could a Saudi-owned club really play with Qatar on their shirts? The answer is that anything feels possible between these squabbling siblings’.
  23. For a club who had no wriggle room under ffp all of a sudden they’re splashing the cash, does make you wonder.
  24. Was a time when Penfold was the only employee at the club who wore a suit how times change.
  25. They can probably get by playing that Diallo up front with Roberts, Clarke and Geldhart supporting him. Think they’ve got a fighting chance of going up from what I’ve seen, though losing your main scorer for the run in will most likely catch up with them.
