  1. What about if Bobby Dazzler works a job where it is impossible to get online at 10am during the week?
  2. Then people would have to pay more money to become a gold member? Wouldn’t that be unfair on people who couldn’t afford to?
  3. Instead of being drawn separately, they did a single ballot with everybody finding out if they had one or not at the same time (just like last night). Nobody in Pot 4 had one before anybody else. People were misled into thinking it would not be like that because of the staggered entry to the ballot- but it turns out it was the same ballot. I have not heard one single convincing argument otherwise (despite the weird amount of people on here trying to convince me otherwise for one reason or another.)
  4. If anybody is going wouldn’t mind a few pics of the new standing bit
  5. Good point, but that was all bollocks anyway. The ballot was drawn at the same time, so despite ‘pots’ nobody got priority
  6. Hope that Man Utd fan that pointlessly posts on here will give us his view
  7. You’re conflating two entirely separate things here.
  8. A bizarre conversation on the Totally football podcast about this. On the one hand the implication was we have acted dodgy in securing enough to allow us to buy Barnes without a dent on FFP, on the other they seemed faux confused about why we have sold a 26 year old for such a low fee to another PIF owned club. Obviously their Spurs reporter was on hand to say ‘lots’ of PL clubs have ‘questions’. But I can’t work out what the questions would be related to, the first confident assertion, or the second equally confident (and entirely contradictory) assertion. In conclusion, I must stop listening to the Totally Football podcast.
  9. Yep- despite not being in the North East much of the time, I’ve kept my season ticket on because I like going to the games when I’m back. It’s only now that that is a problem. For years I couldn’t give match tickets away.
  10. Unity, brothers. I’ll shut up now.
  11. So, what? Another 24 hour period to do this? With others complaining that they can’t get online at that point and why should they have to etc Aside from people with genuine reasons for being unable to be placed in whatever seat, I do think this is starting to get a bit silly: A) Apply for a seat in a category that costs a price you want/are prepared to pay B) Be allocated a seat. It doesn’t sound that unreasonable to me. People desperate to sit next to others can apply together.
  12. They didn’t! (Once again.)
  13. Even the derby went to something like ten points in 2008. People know exactly what has changed since- and it gets tiring. It’s called a loyalty system
  14. Not if you were successful in the ballot
  15. Not sure we can really have it both ways, to be honest. That way of doing it would just give people who can afford the highest price way more chance of getting one
  16. I have asked this again and again about the Trust and True Faith? I was wholly disengaged at the time, but am I right in thinking they encouraged others to get rid of their season tickets while keeping hold of their own? And promised consultation with the club and new owners about loyalty points that they were quite obviously in no way placed to guarantee? Almost have to admire the moxie really.
  17. Yes, I think the people guaranteed a ticket could choose, but after pot three it went to a lottery and those people couldn’t
  18. Not sure why people keep saying this about Wembley. That’s not what happened is it? If you were successful in the ballot you were just assigned a seat
  19. Well, surely if he wants to leave, submitting a transfer request is fair enough? Isn’t that the entire point of a transfer request?

    St James' Park

What was the crowd? I just looked at the BBC report and they mentioned the boycott, so not an entirely wasted effort. How was the atmosphere around town?

    St James' Park

That spurs game was fucking bleak mind. I remember being on a massive comedown on my way back to London from Tunbridge Wells of all places. It’s amazing to look back at how disengaged I was. It was on the radio I think.
